Another thing I just realized. One of the hints given in the last "EXTREME!!!" segment was "The wizard lied". And at the end of the most recent episode, Clonekara referred to Whately as a warlock. Whately may not be telling the truth at all, and is just screwing him around.
Whateley is as trustworthy as he is competent.
If we go for the "this is Mechaverse Linkara, (like I legit need a shorter name for this character) it's possible that Whatley isn't skilled enough to tell the difference between Mechakara and the person who's skin he was wearing. Him being outright wrong would be an amusing take on this.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Double posting for the new review.
As much as I would have liked Mechakara's victim, it's almost certainly Mechakara given the triggers and his reaction to the truth. There's still the mystery of who attacked Pollo though.

The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Yeah, the clone being a resurrected Mechakara is starting to look more likely to me. The objects he was looking at all hint towards it (the hand of the Harvey robot, Vyce's helmet, ROB, Mimikyunote ). There's also the fact he started to remember after looking at the posters, which include To Boldly Flee and the AT4W movie. There's also how he said he didn't like the face he had, and remembers he did something with his hands, since his hands were the only thing that were consistently robotic.
So if that is the case, one could interpret his breakdown at the end one of two ways: Either Mechakara is terrified that he is now a completely organic being, or it's because he's suffering from Amnesiac Dissonance and is horrified about the evil deeds he has done before his resurrection. Those are the two most likely interpretations in my opinion.

It's kinda weird that Linkara's two most recurring enemies are like a bizarre Hourglass Plot of the other. Mechakara is a robot which grew to loathe organic life, but after being defeated time and again was forced into a situation where he was revived to be entirely organic. Vyce on the other hand is a living being who's madness came from chasing a White Whale in the form of a eldritch computer glitch. To escape his imprisonment he turned himself into pure data, becoming the same kind of being he was hunting.
This actually leads me to question. What's with Vyce's body during the Sleepwalker arc? Was that a robot duplicate of his original body? Just the suit but designed so Vyce could take it over?
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Well, originally Vyce transferred over to a Shade body after the Ghost in the Machine story arc, and he was still in that body when Linkara defeated the King of Worms. My best assumption is that 90's Kid built him a new body, presumably a robotic one that Vyce could easily transfer into. Vyce is limited by the body he has, so you can explain the long periods of time 90's Kid was absent during that period was him trying to perfect the body before Vyce was forced to use it.
That scream could be AU Linkara remembering that he was horribly murdered, though the "Mechakara reborn" is possible. Whatever the case, this means that there are three versions of Linkara around.

Part 1 of the Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash: The Nightmare Warriors review:
Part 2!
Yep. It's Mechakara brought back by the power of the Plot Hole. I hope there's a good explanation as to how a robot's consciousness ended up in the revived fleshy bits. If Mechakara survives this, IDK if he'll be a threat in the long run. He can use the stuff around him to fight Linkara, but he lacks his robotic abilities and he's incapable of using magic to enchant new stuff.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Wow, Lewis is a really good actor!

Welp, Zennistrad called it.
And I'm not sure on how well Lewis kept it as a surprise. On the one hand, the clues got a bit too big as the storyline progressed, to the point where I was even wondering if Clonekara being Mechakara was actually meant to be a red herring of sorts. It was practically too easy to connect the dots. On the other hand, I had also read Zennistrad's WMG near the start of the storyline so I don't know how many clues I would've caught had I not been thinking about that possibility. I dunno, was it particularly obvious for any of you guys?
I will say though, hot damn can Lewis act. This might be my favorite performance of his from the entire show. EDIT: lol 'd

Welp, seems he's going to go with the "Mechakara is horrified he's human" now route. That was always the more likely option of the two scenarios I suggested. I like how he's just freakin' snapped at this point. It's easy to forget that his original mission was just to figure out how magic worked. Instead, his own petty sadism ended up putting him down the path that made him what he hated the most.
I wonder if we'll get a scene of him just snapping at Linkara for never referring to him as Pollo, but always as Mechakara. It was addressed in the Movie, but I kind of want that be a Beserk Button that really causes him to go violent.
What happened with Mechakara reminds me of something that happened to Beast Machines Megatron.
Linkara plays psycho really well.
Really good lighting and effects at the end there.
Also I want to see Jason vs Predator
Ukrainian Red CrossI mean, the acting was good, but the really excellent part of that sequence was the directing. Which is not something Linkara's normally all that great at.
Well, he has a thing for slasher pics. And that last bit was like something out of a slasher pic. Makes sense he'd have a knack for it.

I've said it before on this thread, but the thing that Lewis far and away excels at the most, acting-wise, is giving his characters mental breakdowns.
Also, called it!
We're getting the finale to the Clone Saga on Monday.
This year's Secret Origin Month is going to be all Marvel characters, covering the origins of Black Panther, the Golden Age Human Torch, Wolverine, and Deadpool. It's nice that he's branching off from the Gold and Silver Age heroes a bit. I'm guessing next year will be all DC heroes to compensate for this.
He pointed it out in the post that he was mistaken. He did the Justice League and Namor. Namor is Marvel.

He already did all DC heroes last year. That's why he's doing all Marvel heroes this year.
One point of evidence for Otherkara being the AU Linkara Mechakara killed. He can use magic. This means either that Otherkara is not evil, or that amnesia removes culpability for past actions according to the rules of reviewniverse magic. And IDK if that latter makes sense.
