^No, I totally agree with you, I'm just describing what happens in the VN. It makes sense, but only in retrospect. Although I didn't hit by that the first time round, I got hit by the " Say you're prepared to take the shroud off? Y/N" choice.

Yes, yes she does.

I think my favourite bit in the novel is still when she's doing her entire trance/hallucination/strema of consciousness thing and is going all I have to protect Shirou, if he'll fight he'll die!... I know! I'll break all his arms and legs! Then he'll be safe! very creepy. Or the fact that one of the things makes her snap is That Rin saw the one moment she considered "hers" she's one screwed up girl.

Still looks the best naked though...

The sheer Grimdark! (but with a massive Earn Your Happy Ending if you do it right and a Tear Jerker if you don't) is why I love Heaven's Feel the most of all the routes.

I don't think Rin's unemotional enough to qualify, subjectively speaking.

In fact, she often screws up at the apex of her carefully laid plans because her emotions do get the better of her, and her affection for Sakura is pretty obvious. Shirou even tells her that she's fooling absolutely no-one with all her "I will uphold my duty as a mage at all costs" bravado.

That she is. I've seen 1/8th sized figurines of Saber Lily. Definitely Fetish Fuel for the guys out there...

Now, if only she appears as a Magical Girl alter-ego for Saber. Kind of like Kaleido Ruby for Rin or Magical Amber for Kohaku.

Well, Rin does uphold that bravado, in another of those long-delay Dead Ends. I never got caught by the other one you guys have mentioned (maybe I'm naturally diplomatic?), but this one was sort of interesting to me. It's the one where you swear to do whatever she says in exchange for her help, after you lose Saber, and she places a geas on you. When it comes time to figure out what to do with Sakura in the church, she calls it in and kills her own sister while you're paralyzed.

Alright, hold on. If I remember right, the Dead End where Sakura starts torturing Rin was due to picking the "wrong" choice in Kill Saber. Y/N?.

Kill Saber Y/N isn't the choice that affects that.

The earlier one that has Shirou being asked an awkward question is what determines that ending.

But DAMN if you don't have to earn her. The Bonus Dungeons that are available only if you've obtained all 52 Battle Masteries are pretty hard.

I must admit Saber is the character that has generated the most Hype Backlash in me since Arcueid. Not because of you, guys, it just seems that Type-moon fans in general can never stop gushing about them.

Saber seems oddly popular to me, but in my experience no one seems to really care much about Arc one way or the other.

I liked Arc, and was sad to see her go in her True End.

Arc was probably my least favourite character in Tsukihime. And Saber my least favourite in FSN.

isn't the choice that affects that.

Although it DOES Lead to an ending where Sakura absorbs Rin into her shadow-form thingie.

I didn't mean no one liked her, I meant that she wasn't very many people's favorite character or least favorite character. She ends up in the middle of lists a lot.

Huh? Really? Cool. The flowchart's not saying a thing about it, though. Of course, since my game's completely screwed itself over and refused to recognise any of my saves, it'll be a while before I get back to Heaven's Feel again.

It's extremely easy to skip scenes up to where you were, even if you're forced to start a new game. If you mean that the game doesn't even recognize you've played it before, that's more annoying, but at least you can auto-scroll through text really really fast.
