Axiom Verge 2, Hollow Knight Silksong, 30XX, Rogue Legacy 2, Hunie Pop 2...
Seems like there's a ton of sequels to indies in the works right now, hope they all live up to their predecessors.
...not that that's particularly hard in the case of 30XX, 20XX was pretty rough, but either way.
I'm excited for Silksong since Hollow Knight is one of my favorite games of all time.
Making my way through it right now.
I'm most excited to Rogue Legacy 2, I spent over 60 hours on the first one and I'm excited to do it again.
Pretty interesting, if really long, video about the map design and world-building of Hollow Knight:
It was fascinating finding out that I was supposed to go to the Howling Cliffs, Crystal Peak, Resting Grounds and Deepnest after the City of Tears, not before.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."The writers of the Lovestruck series have gone on strike and are demanding better pay, higher wages and reasonable working time to their parent company.
Who's Sexy clown in the Ace Attorney post that keeps going around Tumbler?
Ohh good maybe I can catch up.
And maybe Scallops will fly out of my pants.

Xbox counterpart to smash bros fighter suggestions form the last Xbox owner who should be doing it. The links are being pains so, I hope you know who I mean. I'm taking this seriously. If I have a dumb fighter it's because I'm dumb when it comes to Xbox.

I'm reminded now of Indie Brawl, a sadly ill-fated attempt to make a Smash-game around characters from indie games.
From what I recall, the base was there and working, with a number of characters in place or partially so. It had Naija, Trilby, Liero, and more besides—plus a rather neat stage based on Death Worm!
But alas, as sometimes happens with fan-projects, development petered out. In particular, I think that I recall a primary developer leaving the project, and despite a call for a replacement no-one taking it up in their place.
(To be clear, I'm not predicting a similar outcome for your idea; I'm just prompted to reminisce.)
My Games & WritingEhh, I said it before, I only want it to see if they bring in the Xbox guest charter to whit, Spawn, to whit not from a video game.
And maybe Creeper for an assist trophy.

IGN hinting at a return of G4.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."I've never really engaged much with Suikoden but I hope Murayama succeeds with his endeavors because the core concept seems pretty good and it's a pretty impressive roster working on this.
I recommend you trying out the second one if you feel like getting into it.
If it's not too much, is there a reason to play the second one first over the first one?
It's a better game and can be enjoyed stand-alone. I think there are a few recurring characters and you get a nice bonus if you have a cleared Suikoden 1 save file on your memory card, but other than that you don't miss out on much.
What he said: first one is preeeeetty rough, and the story is just not as good.
BTW, Jason Schreier (yes, the one from "Blood, Sweat and Pixels") wrote a little article with a bunch of tips to enjoy Suikoden 2 more.
If you want a spiritual successor for that too, the Trails Series is that and has been directly stated so by its creators.
Okay well I gave Suikoden 2 a spin for about forty minutes and I think the most striking thing about it so far is the little bits like going around the camp to see all the conversations and how running back the same path after Jowy prompts you to go back reveals that the soldiers didn't make it. It's the little things that really show the work to immerse the player in the world.
I did like that they threw you in without dumping everything to the player on a story or gameplay level, but it did mean I spent roughly half an hour not realizing which button is used for most cancel prompts.
Combat is okay, though clearly I haven't unlocked the real meat and potatoes of it since I only got to the first village before saving and calling it a break.
Definitely going to play more, but I'm putting it on the backburner for now since I'm already replaying Devil Survivor 2 and I don't feel like juggling two grindy JRPGs at the moment.
Also I'm playing this on an emulator and apparently my laptop's not handling the game well because there are blacked-out bits of the world map and the top floor of the Mercenary Fort is just entirely black :x
I do use steam chat on occasion, but very rarely. I don't see a point to steam besides just using it to buy and play games otherwise, and I'm happy to keep it that way.
