Charlatan, it's a fake #23 by someone named "Marbel Hornets". Note the MARBEL.

The video would've been awesome if not for the fact that it was stolen from someone else and then shoddily written text was put in there to make it look like a Marble Hornets video.

Those credits are apparently authentic. Some of the cast have been doing a Q&A on unfiction, but there's nothing really about the plot (the closest is that they're missing something in regards to totheark).

But yeah. Entry #26 made me crap enough bricks to build an extension for my house.

At least it allows me to remain hopeful that there will be a "Part 2"

I can't be scared of these videos now that I saw the GIMME 20 DOLLARS video.

Just started an Archive binge, I'm about to start number three. I'm already friggen scared, not sure if I want to continue. Horrified fascination is going to keep me watching, most likely...

Incidentally, in relation to Slender Man in general: has anyone seen any of the other Slender-blogs? (e.g. Just Another Fool, Seeking Truth, Everyman HYBRID)

Just started up Just Another Fool...maybe I shouldn't do both at once...dammit.

I read Just Another Fool, but I felt it was a little too short for my tastes.

The Slenderman and the Tall Man should totally go out drinking sometime.

They should totally bring... uh... the other Tall Man, while they were at it.

Also The Thin Man, 'cuz he's quite the partier.

I was suprised that the masked man was listed as an Ensemble Dark Horse. He seemed to have almost taken over as the villain, to be honest.

Theres another thin man to worry about too.

I thought the current theoryis that totheark is Tim, and the masked man is Alex? Tried to scare J away from this stuff, and realized it wouldn't work, so tried to protect him.

Forgive me for Completely Missing The Point, but...how are the special effects? Does the Slender Man actually appear on camera? I imagine it'd be hard to do with just a guy in a mask...

They special effects are pretty good for what it's worth. There's some instance where blood is shown and it can kinda come off as fake, but that's like one video. Slenderman is shown on screen quite a bit and gets a few awesome money shots is some of the videos. I thought he looked pretty damn good, though, occasionally his arms looked a bit wonky.

As far as wondering why Slendy appeared in the student film to begin with, my two-bit theory is that he was actively seeking ways to expose his existence to more and more people, so that they can become new victims. Perhaps he even compelled J to post the videos in the first place - otherwise, he had no real reason or incentive to. Maybe he feeds on us?

The visual effects are pretty good. Slendy does appear on camera, but the costume never lets up.

Secondly, I've been trying to expand The Slender Man Mythos trope page. I'd like to get a redirect of Slender Man on that page, along with getting some trope pages up for the other side stories. Anyone like to lend a hand? I've got pages on Seeking Truth and Just Another Fool up, but there's a few more I'd like to get articles on (e.g. Everyman HYBRID, Tribe Twelve). I'm going to end up as the Entry Pimp for these, otherwise x.x
