Are you trying to imply that turning into a rabbit is not a normal occurrence?
It was just trivia. Some people say that the series was ruined forever after Miyamoto stepped down as Zelda director, but he had already done that with a pre-OOT game. Additionally, why all Zelda "problems" are attributed to Aonuma, despite him having directed only three games (MM, TWW and TP)?

"Some people" are weasel words, or word cruft, as it's called here. They're essentially meaningless.
Also, Ruined Forever is a parody trope. If anyone actually says the phrase "Ruined Forever" they're not to be listened to.

well, meaningless unless you put emphasis on the some
in which case, they're probably talking about you. yes you, the one reading this, the one passively thinking it cant possibly be you. you are the disease of the internet.
WTF did you just say?

Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite. If "you" isn't directed at at any particular person or group, doesn't that basically make it mean "everyone"?

yep.
well, actually no.
only the people who read the post, which is the specific group it was directed to. thus actually meaning "some people"

Yes or the group being spoken to as a whole but it can be rather hard to actually detach oneself from it on a personal level. Which can result in people going "WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN IT'S ME?!?!!!?!!"

If someone wants to accuse us of eating coconut shells, then that's their business. We know what we're doing. - Achaan ChahYes, but hypothetically, if everyone read the post, it would refer to everyone. Even ones who don't know what Zelda is even. Therefore, it refers to everyone.

assuming every single hypothetical person in hypothet world had a hypothetical computer and knew of a hypothetical tv tropes and were ever hypothetically directed to this specific real page of this specific real thread in this specific hypothetical subforum, yes.

Hm, actually you singled out anyone who would passively think you couldn't possible talking about them, so you're especially talking about the people who have no relation to this.
What are we talking about?
i dont even know.
its like...some people were controlling my mind and making me post irrelevant meta drivle, and a few voices cried out in objection, but were suddenly silenced. hypothetically.
...ok, apparantly hypothetical me is schizophrenic. didnt know that.
...and apparantly real me doesnt know what schizophrenic means.
im so confused~

I say we talk about what TV Tropes would look and be like, personified as a cat. A hypothetical cat.
No, better idea. There should be a Zelda game where Link reincarnates as a cat. And has to save Zelda cat from Ganondorf cat. And has a mouse sidekick.
edited 21st Mar '12 7:15:56 PM by KuroBaraHime
shouldnt hypothetical ganon be a hypothetical mutt?
a hypothetical bulldog maybe?
ganondorf can be an american bully.
hypothetically bullying real americans all across hypothetical america- wait what happened to hyrule- and why arent the real americans in real american, and why are they letting themselves get bullied by a dog- and why is ganondorf american???
im so confused~

Yes, now you're thinking with power! Nintendo Power!
Cat!Link is also a big, fat, out-of-shape cat who lounges around all day. He still wears the green though, which is where he keeps his special cat-based weaponry and items, as well as his magical talking mouse sidekick, who comes along to find the fabled Golden Tri-Cheese.
Dog!Ganon has kidnapped the Princess's pet cat Meowlia on the holy power to free oppressed pets everywhere, and make the humans their slaves. To beat him you must get the legendary Master Spork, the ultimate of all animal weapons.

If Link's a cat and Ganon's a dog, what would Zelda be? A mouse? A bird?
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadBigger question: what would Zeldo be?
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorA cat. A male cat.

"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadWith the significant downgrade of the presence of block and torch puzzles in SS, would you want them to be extinct for the next game?
So I heard you like opera...
"If you like what you hear, imagine what a real opera could do with it!"
Indeed.

I'm actually quite enjoying it

I don't know. I'd say Zelda games were pretty high on life even before Link's Awakening.
