I don't know. I'd say Zelda games were pretty high on life even before Link's Awakening.

Are you trying to imply that turning into a rabbit is not a normal occurrence?

It was just trivia. Some people say that the series was ruined forever after Miyamoto stepped down as Zelda director, but he had already done that with a pre-OOT game. Additionally, why all Zelda "problems" are attributed to Aonuma, despite him having directed only three games (MM, TWW and TP)?

"Some people" are weasel words, or word cruft, as it's called here. They're essentially meaningless.

Also, Ruined Forever is a parody trope. If anyone actually says the phrase "Ruined Forever" they're not to be listened to.

Yes or the group being spoken to as a whole but it can be rather hard to actually detach oneself from it on a personal level. Which can result in people going "WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN IT'S ME?!?!!!?!!"
