Her other shrines make up for it though, that area was sorely lacking in Fast Travel before.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."True, but its location is just so bad as you can't reach anything from it. It's nothing but ocean and crazy steep mountains. I cannot see any instance where someone would want to travel to that shrine as a shortcut. Granted, it's DLC so by that point a convenient shortcut is not priority.
This trial did make me realize something: there's so much NOTHING behind Zora's Domain. All that area with nothing unique or interesting to get. A shrine hiding there would be logical. Maybe that's why the DLC made the trials near here.
-Witty line-I feel like there are lots of shrines that aren't really convenient shortcuts, though. Just because you can Warp Whistle to them doesn't mean you ever need to. Part of the reason you don't have to beat a shrine to use it for fast travel is so that you don't have to slog back to a really out-of-the-way one if you find yourself stuck and want to try it again later.
You mean north of Zora's Domain and south of Akkala? Yeah, once you have the Zora Helm there's pretty much no reason to go there. Unless you're farming Lynel parts, but physically going to Shatterback Point is rarely worth the hassle. Better to farm the Lynels in Hebra or the Coliseum Ruins instead.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?I wish the Yiga Clan weren't played as such a joke. Like, when you're traveling around and getting ambushed by them its startling and intimidating, and the fact that they were threatning that one Sheikah guy to be a double agent is very menacing... Then you actually go to their base during the Vah Naboris arc (yeah, I'm calling them arcs, deal with it.) and... they become a joke. And their leader is a total moron. THESE are the people who worship Calamity Ganon?
Yes they are.
Why would Satan worshipers be taken seriously?
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Not to mention, they are taken seriously when they do the things they're good at-targeting civilians, sneaking, spying, and stealing. They got the Thunder Helm, after all.
It's just that in open combat against someone like Link or Urbosa, they are out of their depth. In the one flashback, Zelda is plenty scared of them when they attack her before Link steps in.
I guess what I mean to say is, I don't like that there's such a disconnect between how the Yiga are in their hideout, and how they are everywhere else.
That could've been resolved if the original Kohga from Age of Calamity actually was a competent leader/villain, and only his descendant was a poser clinging desperately to a ninja clan version of Were Still Relevant Dammit.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?It sounds they were coasting more off the fear of them instead of actual prowess
New theme music also a box
This post was thumped by the Codfish in a Derby Hat
I did read a great fanfic which made the Yiga more badass. And for an actual reason, too, instead of just "they're more dangerous because I said so."
You would have to be a moron to worship Ganon...
Nach jeder Ebbe kommt die Flut.Today on strangely effective soundtracks, I've been watching Andy speedrun ALTTP Randomized, and he started injecting Tunic's OST into the game. It works so well though.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Someone on Weibo just said they were working on BotW2 animations and may have leaked some things.
The spoilers: New Game Plus and Link looks different post game.
They also did dragon and flying animations and new first time picking up the Sheikah Slate animation.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Still no sign of Ganondorf.
But I'll wait patiently, I already had my fun controlling Calamity Ganon in Age.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.eh,Ganondorf is probably a pile of bones at this point, the calamity ganon likely has no need for a host anymore
New theme music also a boxWhat they need to bring back is the shovel so you can dig up the ground for rupees or hearts or ammo. And then have a sidequest where an item is hidden in one spot of the entire map and you have to dig it up.
Oh, and its placement is randomized every time.
So, a return of the digging minigame from A Ltt P, just 8 million times more evil.
-Witty line-I'm still shocked the first game didn't have fishing. I would assume they're bringing that back for the second, but, well, that's what I thought the first time.
I'd also like some way to make the bombs more dangerous. They became pretty much useless as weapons five minutes after the tutorial. My idea was a bomb bag that has weapon durability, so you use the rune to pull the bomb out of the bag.
I went in the opposite direction and depended on bombs much more the further I got in the game. Mostly because its the only source of offense that doesn't have a durability aspect associated with it. I noticed that sniping with bombs don't have the monsters notice you hiding like arrows do. And they are great for stal-monsters and Yiga bow soldiers so you don't have to waste durability on weak enemies.
-Witty line-So wait?
Was checking out the Zelda Wiki for shits and giggles, and does the remake of Links Awakening have memories (link learning things about the past somehow) just like BOTW?
How do they work exactly?
One Strip! One Strip! No. IIRC the "memories" section of the menu is for replaying cutscene dialogue.
I wish they did that. LA was pretty much showing characters he created in his mind and all. That'd have been a great addition to the remake.
I'm just shy of 800 seeds. I can't believe all the nook and cranny spots for these things.
I'm in the middle of Mipha's Champion Ballad and cleared the shrine in the ocean. This has got to be the worst shrine location in the game. Why would anyone want to warp to this place?
-Witty line-
