Alright, since Louisaurusrex made a proposal for an image, it seemed natural that I'd have to make a thread about it.

So I'll include the two images as well as a few more to gauge out what the audience feels is best, so here we go...

YMMV on my part, but I do feel that the best examples would have to be the ones with either the asteroid being visible, or at least the asteroid collision as it's too synonymous with the Cretaceous extinction event to the point it's hard to find any other alternative.

Also, 1.1 and 1.3 are both used in books, hence their qualification.
