I don't think we need the other images of the actor. We can see that it's the same actor, and from the clothes we can see he is playing the same role, so that's enough of a connection.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.But again, the trope is not just 'character ages', otherwise we may as well go with the OP. I would prefer the image to show that it's not old-man makeup or CGI aging (which are pretty common all things considered).

We need to avoid making it look more like Time-Shifted Actor as well.
Anyway, Iām good with 22.

back lolAh yeah, I'd been meaning to make a proper IP thread for this for a while; I'd previously added this image to the page before removing it because it'd been a unilateral move on my part:
(I know IP threads technically aren't needed to add images to pages without them, but I still felt it'd be better to make a thread first.)
I was initially planning on proposing a more professional-looking version of this, but upon seeing the options here, I think 22 is a lot better, in part because it features contemporary photos of Jonathan Frakes out of character as well as in; my vote goes to that.

Be kind.22.
(Annoyed grunt)22's in and tagged. I put in a modified version of the original caption format (since the pics are not really all from the same year as they were in the Ford/Han pic), using 'circa' and rounding up to the decade instead. (Picard premiered in 2020, but that pic of Frakes is from a con the year before promoting the show, I believe)
Any objections? Other ideas?
Works for me.
(Annoyed grunt)Agreed on that one
Be kind.Yep, that's good.
It's tagged. Locking.
