The "one image per page" rule only applies to moments pages, so leaving the page alone is an option.

The only reason it does not extend to What Could Have Been is that nobody has tried to add multiple pics to such a page yet. But I don’t see why we would apply it inconsistently. This is not intended to be a Fandom wiki where every instance should be documented.
Still no reason to have multiple, so I’m voting for the first.

...So, I made a crowner. But then halfway through I realized this is one of those (irritatingly, IMO, because it hurts organization) condensed franchise subpages, and it struck me that most of them can be kept if each section was split back to their respective games (as was done with WhatCouldHaveBeen.Marvel Cinematic Universe).
Thoughts on doing that instead?

OK —- I asked about this on ATT
and have decided to split the page back. Most everything (except Wrath of Cortex) was stubby enough to go back onto each game's Trivia page. Here are the pulled pics. I will set up a crowner for the remaining images on the page (pertaining to the first game or the franchise as a whole) shortly. It was an incomplete merge as well since several of the Trivia pages still had the edits without being merged to the franchise one...
