Opening. I don’t mind the suggestion.
Macron's notesSure.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessThis should probably go on the suggestion thread.
I'd like to apologize for all this.Yeah, this should've gone through the suggestion thread. That said, since it's already open and has some votes, we can keep going. I think it's good.
Better.
I just noticed Non-Damaging Status Infliction Attack is also a trope, which both suggestions here would illustrate.
Is there a reason for that? Feels like a rather minimal distinction to justify two separate tropes.

It's one of MaLady's splits, idk.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI'm not sure why they couldn't just explain the distinction in one page instead of needing two.
It's weird, but not the weirdest thing I've seen here, I guess...

Not getting into Lumper vs. Splitter, 6
TroperWall / WikiMagic Cleanupfor 6, since it's more visual than the OP.
Time is subjective.I vote to put 6 on Non-Damaging Status Infliction Attack. Most examples on Status Infliction Attack also does damage, so the image should reflect that.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.Crowner's hooked.
Votes bump. There's consensus for 6 to be put on the subtrope, but let's give the other options a couple more days.
Going ahead and calling this one. The pics are in and tagged on both pages; caption for either?
How exactly does the OP illustrate the trope?
I don't see damage anywhere. It's pretty much the same as Non-Damage suggestion.
It's inflicting Poison. I think it's implicit that poison deals damage.
That's how I took it.
Poison should covered by Non-Damaging Status Infliction Attack though (i.e, indirect damage). Status Infliction Attack is for "direct" damage that also causes a status effect.
This is why I asked about whether those tropes should have been their own thing. This is an important distinction that was seemingly ignored by both pages.
Is "Non-Damaging" here referring to the "Status" or to the "Attack"? That's the question.

Honestly it was kind of a rushed launch (there were concerns about the name up til the day before) but that would be a TRS concern at this point.
No consensus on a caption, locking up.
