Yeah, the Scooby Doo reference is pretty understandable as him saying "go be meddling kids."
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain."Now let's see who's the Green Goblin really is!"
"-gasp-Old Man Osborn?!"
And I would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for you snooping kids and that stupid Spider-Man.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Does Norman exist in the MCU?
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Tony Stark is the closest thing so far.
Secret SignatureUnlikely, considering that Oscorp would have been mentioned by now with Norman's arrival.

Now Tony might be a war profiteer, arms dealer, and narcissist, but not even he's as bad as Norman.
Tony Stark was clueless, cares for his employees, and well intentioned with his arms dealing, Norman Osborn is a corrupt corperate executive who tried to kill his son for good PR.
I'm sort of expecting the company to have bought out the Avengers tower to be Oscorp though.

I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Tony try as he might to be better is an incompetent fuck-up because he can't keep his shit together.
Norman though embraces being a total absolute shithead and the worst person on the planet.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I'll give Stark credit for at least improving as a person despite still fucking up.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. Its like with Bojack Horseman.
Sure the sentiment is appreciated but..... your not actually improving much.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Maybe we could focus on No Way Home in the No Way Home thread, and leave the inevitable next round of Tony bashing for another thread.
I legitimately can't tell if this is sarcasm or meant to be serious.
Wonder what role May will play in this.
Makes sense, maybe he won't constantly make Peter cringe about how young she is.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I'll keep it that way.
I love how it was just a one off thing, yet it's the story that everyone knows because of how weird it was.
Not even sure if people know the context that Doc Ock only tried to marry her because of the nuclear power plant she inherited.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. In before Aunt May dies horrible, painfully
New theme music also a boxIf she dies, Peter can just sell Michelle to Mephisto.
This is sort of a OMD adaptation anyway.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.OMIT, but yes.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Isn't OMIT non canon now anyway?
As the deal still exists lol.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."I always took OMIT as the in-universe explanation created by Mephisto. Dunno if that's how it's been played, haven't been too up-to-date since the end of Slott's run.
But the OMIT comparison's valid if only because the "Dr. Strange casting a spell to erase everyone's memories of Spider-Man" element is lifted straight from it.
Imagine if Mephisto is the one who has to undo the spell
New theme music also a boxPretty cool implementation of the classic starfish mask for Electro's new look.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
Willem Dafoe playing a Ghost-Goblin. Now there's a universe of hammy possibilities
