I hope Kirsten Dunst is in the movie, so I can say that Marie-Antoinette is a part of the MCU now.

Victor of HGS S320 | "There's rosemary, that's for remembrance. Pray you, love, remember."Doc Ock as an Evil Mentor or possibly even ex-villain mentor looks to be amusing.
Peter's reluctant here to send the villains back to their universes where they're fated to die fighting their Spider-Man. I wonder if he feels guilty about Mysterio's death, even with how scummy he was.
So, Lizard definitely confirmed. Other shit is going down. Looks like Strange might not be as much of a mentor as Fury and Stark were.
But man, that one mystery green guy has me intrigued
Trust no one.No sign of Venom in the trailer despite the end credits scene in the last Venom movie. Strange. Figured we were gonna get a makeshift Sinister Six going on.
A lot of people going to be disappointed that Andrew and Tobey didn't show up.
Maybe they really weren't lying when they said those two wouldn't be appearing
I guess, after a night of pillaging and raping, a Viking wants a little something to go with his cocoa.I think now that there's explicit confirmation those rogues aren't originally from the MCU, the chances of Tobey and Andrew actually being in the film are, well, not zero. But my guess is they won't play major roles (ie. it's not going to be Into the Spider-Verse); I can see them cameoing during glimpses of their "home" universes though.
For some strange reason, the Lizard in the trailer has his head forcefully knocked to the side in the lunging shot. Almost as if he was punched by...something. The source is from the Sony Brazil Twitter page.
x2 Trailers Always Lie and Lying Creator. The leaked pictures and video specifically pointed to this climax's construction site featuring them, which is present in this trailer more prominently.

Apparently the trailer showed some stuff that lined up with a leaked image of Tobey and Andrew, so who knows at this point?

Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks Marathon(Edit because I thought XMenMutant was referring to me) Or they could help out during the final battle. That's not what I personally would call a 'major role'.
It's the whole Wandavision thing again. At the end of the day this should be Peter's story, not a fanservice parade.

I feel like it's a fanservice parade already, at least when it comes to the original trilogy.
It's been 3000 years…It is indeed. But I'm a little more on-board for this one.
Speaking of which, did anyone notice at one point that Jameson seems to be wearing his clothes from the climax of Spider-Man 3?
Could we be getting alternate universe J Jonah Jamesons?

Trust no one.So, our page for the film is claiming Thomas Haden Church and Rhys Ifans are most definitely back as Sandman and Lizard. Is this confirmed, or are they CGI monsters/stunt doubles/Other Darrins?
I don't know. Haven't seen any confirmations online though.
Trust no one. They were referenced in the Empire Magazine article.
Is that a credible source?
Trust no one.Yes, Empire Magazine is a very credible film magazine. They gave us the previous poster◊ for this film, along with additional interviews with Tom Holland weeks prior.

"Thomas Haden Church's Sandman" is surely referring to the character previously played by Church, but it is not really the same as "Thomas Haden Church is in this movie as Sandman again".

So, someone pointed out in the MCU thread that Lizard didn't die fighting Spider-Man in The Amazing Spider-man, and I think it's worth noting that Sandman didn't die in Spider-Man 3 either. I wonder if at least those two aren't actually the ones from their respective films, or if it's a Broad Strokes retcon. Or maybe they actually aren't all fated to die?
Also, XMenMutant22, do you happen to know which version of the trailer that clip of lizard getting punched by nothing is from? It seems cut the scene before that point in some of them.

I missed the part where that's my problem.I gotta say, Spectacular cartoon Peter Parker was way more competent than MCU Peter.
Lelouch is fabulous. Imma Xehanort on You Tube, Twitter, and Gamefaqs.X2: It was found from the Sony Pictures Brazil account.
Something I just noticed, around 2 minutes in, you can see Electro's electricity forming the shape of his classic mask on his head. Really love that.
I missed the part where that's my problem.I just find it funny, the final three villains they're facing didn't die. Of course maybe they're from similar universes where they did?... And yes put me in the category of they digitally removed Tobey and Andrew from this trailer. This has precedent. They did it with Tom in the Civil War trailers

You can only write so much in your forum signature. It's not fair that I want to write a piece of writing yet it will cut me off in the midA theory I’ve seen for why Ock’s arms are gray in his first appearance then turn red later is Peter uses the Iron Spider’s nanotech to upgrade them and repair Otto’s inhibitor chip.
Also, regarding the fates of Lizard and Sandman, Strange appears to be seeing the villains’ futures and who knows far ahead he’s looking. Maybe Lizard and Sandman didn’t die in the events of their debut movie, but future events result in their demise at their Spider-Man’s hands.

(Making a thread for this early because of all the speculation involved.)
