Gundam Cleanup

This project is for the Gundam franchise page and it’s related series/film/creator pages.

We may need to address issues on these pages like Zero-Content Examples, Expy misuse, shoehorns, Complaining About Shows You Don't Like, hindsight entries on YMMV pages, Wall of Text entries, Example Indentation, spoiler tags on moments pages and so on.

What're some edits you've had your eye on?

Well, for example, I have a concern about this entry on YMMV.Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny:

• Broken Base: Possibly one of the most controversial Gundam series ever.
  • Ask in a forum who is the series' main character and you prepare for one of the longest discussions ever. People will keep repeating the names of Shinn, Athrun and Kira and rarely reach an agreement. It doesn't help that Athrun also happens to be the main narrator from the compilation movies and the one with the most screentime.
  • Athrun/Cagalli's relationship is a huge source of debate, due to the fact that no one seems to know what is going on with the two by the end. Were they really subjected to Ship Sinking or are they still together, just focusing on rebuilding Orb? The fact that fake interviews and rumors have muddied the water doesn't help this at all. That they are also always depicted together like the other two main couples in the series has also made it even more difficult to tell.

I’ve also been keeping an eye on the Gundam SEED YMMV page as well. For example:

• They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: When the HD Remaster was released on Blu-ray in North America, many fans were left dissatisfied with the dialogue, delivery and production of NYAV Post's dub, as opposed to the original Japanese or Ocean performances.

I know fans have been split on the Ocean and NYAV Post dubs of SEED and SEED Destiny, but should the example be cut, kept or reclassified under a different trope like Broken Base?

Personally, I wouldn't mind having a crack at cleaning up the Gundam 00 pages. They're kinda all over the place.

YMMV.G Saviour and YMMV.Mobile Suit Gundam AGE have quite a share of complaints. Moments page for AGE reads a bit too excited/gushy about some moments.

I also expanded Characters.Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ a while ago to add more context and could appreciate a look over to see if everything is valid. Additionally there are still a sizable number of commented out examples that have little to no context that I don't know how to expand.

I’ve removed the Expy entries from the Gundam ZZ character page as potential misuse.

I've created a Sandbox.Gundam Narm page so we can clean out any potential problems on that page. Thoughts?
