OP is more obtuse than the current because you have to fill in the blanks for "things adults think teens say". The current has the outdated slang itself.

I prefer the current because it draws the eye towards the slang immediately (as opposed to OP which has extra expository text) and Eggman doesn't look like the type of person who would speak in modern slang at all, which adds to the ridiculousness.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.
The current works only if you know that the slang is outdated, so I prefer the OP.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.
I feel like the OP is more obtuse about the point it's making.

Also, I feel like the image in Jive Turkey illustrates this more than that trope.
Jive Turkey is about stereotypical-looking streetwise characters, which this old lady is not, so it's a misused image.

But the entire description of Jive Turkey is about how the character talks, not how they look.
I don't think it's unclear that the current is slang even if you don't know what the slang means, which isn't relevant to the trope. (In fact, the slang being hard to understand makes it funnier.)

Totally Radical is about using outdated slang. So it requires somehow indicating that the slang is outdated, preferably with some other character's reactions. Both OP and 8 do that, the current doesn't really. How about swapping the two images?
8 does the best job illustrating Totally Radical, as you can clearly see it's an older person pretending to be young and hip.
Suggesting this one because 1) it's funny 2) it's trying hard to sound hip and 3) it was definitely written by an organization that should not be trying to sound hip.
