A good chunk of the page isn't much more than a glorified Memetic Mutation page, listing some very quotable memes for many different works and assuming that these memes might have introduced more people to the works. For example, among the entries on the page are Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Gravity Falls, and South Park, all very popular works in their own right, and just listing some of the show's biggest memes. Other examples on the page are different however, being genuinely obscure works that manage to spawn a few popular memes, or well-known works that are known for being So Bad, It's Good such as Bee Movie or the Emoji Movie that also spawn memes.

So what do you think? Does the page need improvement and splitting? IMO, this page should largely be for things that end up cultivating an entire fanbase (ironic or not) simply due to the memes that spawn in them or through their potential for being memed. Works like Bee Movie and Snakes on a Plane fit the mold for the ironic side of this trope (having cultivated ironic fanbases through their memes), while works like Jojos Bizarre Adventure might fit for the more sincere side of this trope (having cultivated a genuine fanbase, many of whom got into the show/manga due to the memes it spawned).

This isn't a very strongly argued OP and we currently have a sizable backlog, thus declining.
