I... I would if I could. Look, can we let the whole "I emotionally scarred you permanently and violently murdered all your friends aside from Rebel" be in the past? I don't think we're here to kill anyone.

[Avery turns the corner to see several familiar faces—Stew, Rebel Cookie, Expendable Jones...] "So it appears my Future Sight was correct. But... how?"

[Pizzacatcher Cutbug peeks from around the corner.] wow, I didn't realize you had so many friends. that means more people for me to befriend!~

[The Admin has also entered the area where everyone's gathered.]    "Huh. So I'm not alone."    [They ponder for a moment.]    "I wonder if he's here..."

I was at that job I applied for at MAE, and there were viruses, and turns out my Spirit was one so I was infected and killing people? And turns out I was a failed clone in that dream? Man, it sounds so stupid now I saw it out loud."

Charis is staring at her hands. I... distinctly recall being filled with virus. But what happened after that, though...? How did I get here?

"I'm Stew. I've been drinking for 6 years... sorry, force of habit. I'm... not in the best mental state right now. I guess I gotta forget about it for now... but I'm still on the lookout."

"Hi, Ikei- ....wait, you look... familliar.."

So no one's gonna answer my question???

   "Hey Stew! You seem like a nice guy. You deserve to rest!"   

"My name's Sylvi Elakha," Sylvi mutters, just loud enough to be heard. "... What happened back there? Did I actually... die?"

[While Avery and Cutbug continue talking to each other, the Admin looks up and spies a familiar face. Ikei. They immediately panic internally. Does he know why he's here? Is he going to snap and brutalize them at any moment? Was the dream really a dream?]

Some faceless maniac apparently made entirely of plasma kicks down a door and bursts into the hallway.

Stew winces and lays back down.

Ikei notices the Admin. Oh shit! That's his new boss for that job. Oh right-he was supposed to start that job today. Maybe they brought him here.
