The Murdergame-verse: Murder-free AU

You wake up in a comfy bed in what appears to be a hotel room.

   Heya. Did you know that being murdered can, under incredibly precise circumstances, give you godlike power over your own personal alternate universe? Fun and interesting fact. I decided to have some fun with it.   

   There's no murderers here, no blinking lights, no ravening werewolves, no judgemental extraterrestrials, nor any viruses seeking to infect — without consent, anyway. Just hang out. Get to know each other. And make the most of your time. After all... who knows what might happen next?

Wh- where the hell am I? I walked through the portal, and... what happened after that?

That BASTARD Awe. Of course he would. He wouldn't ever send me home because he wants me to suffer.

Rebel also woke up.

"What the.... oh dammit, I thought I'd be home by now!"

[The Admin sits up in bed and rubs their head.]    "Gaahhhh... I've got a nasty headache. Stupid weird dreams..."    [They look down at themselves.]    "W—wait a minute, I don't know where this is. Sure, it beats being in that damned complex all day, but... Actually y'know what, I'm not complaining."   

"Hang about... You seem familiar somehow."

Dookie walks in through the door.

“I was told there were no murderers here.”

"Stew..? ....where the hell are we?!"

"What in tarnation...?"

A Texan in a hard hat wakes up in a bed.

"Last I 'member I was playin' some games... and now I'm here. What in Sam Hill's goin' on here?"

Ikei wakes up in another bed. He doesn't seem to notice how weird it is he woke up in a random bed.

   "Hey guys! What's going on?"   

[Avery perks up upon hearing familiar voices from the wall.] "I... Wait. Say, would you care to meet some old friends of mine? I think they would be fond of you."

oh, sure! always down for makin' new friends. [And with that, Avery and Cutbug get up and start heading over to wherever Rebel and Stew are.]

   Haha, whoops. I forgot you were headed home. Well. Nothing too bad will happen to you here. You might even meet the friends you lost under Awe's dominion.   

Stew jumps out of bed, and glomps Dookie in tears.

"I don't care where I am... Dookie, I'm so glad you're safe... Wait, is this hell?"

"Hey, lady, did Awe send me to hell?"

Expendable Jones wakes up in hotel room.

Huh. Didn't think fyoras had an afterlife... Wait a minute.

He opens the door. This is another thing, isn't... Oh hi Stew. Sylvi... You weren't supposed to die that night, Sylvi, sorry about that. Um... Stew. Yes. Heh. Good work catching me.

“Well, if this is heaven, then I don’t give a fuck about drowning. Or screwdrivers.”

   "Wait, screwdrivers? What are you guys talking about?"   

Stew furrows his brow, and his blood starts to boil.

"...Jones. What the fuck are you doing here?"

"You know what, I don't give a shit what you're doing, Jones. Get out of here."

   Awe has no particular power here. Your arrival was entirely my doing.
