So, what would you think about that?
I have already explained how these are not tropes. You have not given any argument in favor other than asserting your desire to make them.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"That is not true. I explained that it would be similar to Pandaing To The Audience, but with koalas instead of pandas. They are usually depicted as cute, similar to pandas, and I’m sure that there are enough examples to make it have its own page rather than be on Animal Stereotypes. If that’s the case, then why do pandas have their own page instead of being on the animal stereotypes page? You just used the same “koala is not a trope, they have to have their own meaning” argument. I already said that the trope would NOT just be about “this work contains koalas”, it would actually be about HOW koalas are depicted in works. Then you say that all examples should go on Cuteness Proximity. If that’s the case, then how come there are other pages on the Pleasant Animals Index with cute animals and koalas don’t have their own?
If it’s because of how common they are, then how about we see if it is? If I were to start a draft, would find at least three examples before I would write the draft, while collecting examples from other tropers. If it is not common enough, then we discard it and add the examples to the cuteness proximity page.
I don’t see your point.
Most of the time Fighteer is just saying his personal conjecture. He doesn't want any more Garnishing the Story animal tropes
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzaWhy is that? I don't see anything wrong with them.

A lot of the time, these tropes just end up being watered down as "animal exists". It's a gamble.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessWell, I think those other "animal is present in the work" tropes should be seriously looked at and pruned down too, much like the appearance and weapon of choice tropes.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"What if we try not to let the same fate happen to this one?
Ideally that's what we want. Realistically, though...
It's not a problem of it "not being a trope" or anything like that. It's the problem of many tropers not being able to handle it.

We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzaWell, if this only happens to animals that are depicted positively, then how about a trope about toads being depicted more negatively than frogs?
Yowies and Bunyips and Drop Bears, Oh My includes ravenous Koalas that drop from trees, AKA Drop Bears.
I did not know that such page existed. At least koalas are represented as a trope in some way.
Now, the only thing I’m going to discuss now is if we should add a page about negative (but not necessarily evil) portrayals of toads. What do you guys think about that?

I want to know some good history/basis for that first.
But that would be better discussed in the Trope Idea Sounding Board, not here.
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzaAlso, you don't need a "Slimy Toad" trope because they're already covered in Reptiles Are Abhorrent (yes, I know they're amphibians, but it covers most of the same ground).
They’re not necessarily portrayed as evil, more so just portrayed as pessimistic. Prickly Porcupine covers a similar concept with porcupines, but they’re not considered bad enough to be on the Scary Animals Index.
Well, pandas aren’t very friendly in real life, they just look like it. As for koalas, I’m not sure. I will do research about it before I make the trope, that is if people think it would work out.
