Exactly as the title says. What would be the closest trope for a varied, quirky group or organization of villains? Would an Inversion of the trope work?

I think Quirky Miniboss Squad is an almost universally only used for comedic purposes and only on relatively less important grunts, so I don't think that's fully it.

Ragtag Bunch of Misfits is not innately heroic oriented. It usually is, if only because it shows the heroes starting from a bad place and having to work up, but nothing really says it is only heroic characters. All you would really need is a marker of Villain Protagonist, where the mission is for the bad guys.

The trope is also very specifically about castoffs and screw-ups, people who had to recover from some big mistake or personal flaws. It's not just a group of Bunny Ears Lawyers who are quicky but competent.

Sorry if it wasn't clear, but I'm not asking if there is a Villain Protagonist version of Ragtag Bunchof Misfits, I'm asking if there's one that works for antagonists. Same tropes, just not for the group you're supposed to root for.

The trope is also very specifically about castoffs and screw-ups
The Example As Thesis is very specifically about people saving the world. I don't think the trope should be, but the description does reinforce that this is about heroic characters.
