I enjoyed Clone High but I'm not sure if bringing back the same formula two decades later will still work, and I didn't hear exactly nice things about the leaks either. I'm on the fence on the new characters too, such as skater girl Frida Kahlo, Confucius turned into some sort of Kpop guy and Christopher Columbus being afraid to tell others who he really is. Let's wait and see...

I watched the first two episodes.
I know it's by the same creative team, but so far the new season feels more like 21 Jump Street than the original show. It's just a bunch of jokes about how high school is different nowadays.
It's being aired on Max (formerly HBO Max) and thus it's an Max Original, but it's technically not being made by them and especially HBO, as they have no involvement
Did they kill Ghandi off, make him actually Gary Coleman all along, or something else?

Yeah, they left him behind. Seems like Abe is the only one to care that he's gone and he still thinks that Gandhi is ignoring him.
That's close to killing him off. I'd prefer him being Gary Coleman, though. That way everyone would just call him Gary and he'd still be on the show.
Maybe they'll bring him back in the season finale, or maybe the next season (if there will be one, that is)?

There are many creative ways to bring Gandhi back without bringing Gandhi back. Imagine they put him in a new clone body with the most ridiculous explanation for it AND also explain he is actually Gary Coleman.
Referencing Gandhi repeatedly as a weird acknowledgement that doesnt make his presence go away, which is the opposite of what this reboot wants to do for Gandhi.

I'm getting more into the show with the new episodes, but the one thing that weirds me out is that I don't think Cleo and Abe interact at all. From their perspective, they broke up very recently, yet it seems like they're not gonna do anything with that.
