Further up, there appears to be a massive battle. The Undead have gathered near a housing district, but their numbers seem to be diminishing. The real threat appears to be the seven angels that roam the area - five of them are already locked in battle with others, but two of them remain watching over the area.

Okay, how do I write this...
Yao, you find: A thermos filled with water and ice, a large rock, a box of matches, a large metal pipe, a cell phone, and a large book of spells. However, as you're looking, you notice Frank's hand forming into a strange shape.... Hmm, what is that....
You're suddenly blinded by a bright fiery blaze and stumble backwards, dropping all your loot on the floor.
Frank, you light your hand on fire and wake yourself up, but you're too scatterbrained to concentrate on the water spell. You run around screaming, waving your flaming hand frantically in the air.
You will gradually lose HP while your hand is on fire.
Reiss, you try to shut off the magic but end up concentrating too hard and giving yourself a migraine.
Somewhere in between Chinatown, the bazaar, and the housing district

Greed pouts as Kate takes the gems away, but resigns herself to her fate as she follows to the housing district.
However, the two of you (Kate and Cordelia) bump directly into each other while trying to get your respective destinations, tripping and falling on the floor.

The two of you make it into the city, just at the edge of a sprawling college campus. From here, you can see the spectacle that was obscured by the trees before; a massive pillar of heavenly light shining from the east. You spot two figures flying above the city skyline - angels, you think.
The streets are completely devoid of the Undead.

"In the housing district, a great battle is waging between the sinners and the Forces of Heaven," Euphrosyne explains.
"The Judge has sent down the Seven Heavenly Virtues to test the merits of your fellow players in combat," Thalia continues.
"But, there are others who are still lost, wandering the city in search of their tasks," says Aglaea.
"Your task is to help them all," says Euphrosyne. "Some have the same tasks, while some have very different ones. You will need to take different approaches to help all of them."
"Just know that all roads here ultimately lead to the same destination," Thalia finishes.
