Needs Help: King Arthur,Arthurian Legend,Arthur Pendragon

There has been some shuffling going on recently. Sorry, I can't find prior discussions so point me there.

Until yesterday, Myth/KingArthur was the general/overview page. Myth/ArthurPendragon was a much expanded fork of his section on Characters/KingArthur (now Characters/ArthurianLegend). Myth/ArthurianLegend was a redirect to the overview page, as was Main.KingArthur.

Right now Myth/ArthurianLegend is the overview page and Myth/KingArthur is the redirect. People were making Myth/ArthurPendragon redirect to Myth/KingArthur, but I changed it back because most wicks weren't referring to him personally, but the legends in general.

Now I see there's an entry on TRS Wick Cleaning saying to use Myth/KingArthur for the man and Myth/ArthurianLegend in general. Oops. But people are just as likely to write "the King Arthur legends" as they would "the Arthurian legends" so this is inviting a perpetual cleanup task.

Myth/ArthurPendragon isn't ideal for the man himself because it's a modern coinage - Arthur is not called "Pendragon" in medieval texts, that's his father - but that's easily addressed with an I Am Not Shazam note or entry which is already there on that page and the overview.

Honestly, it was all better left alone. When was it decided anyway?

Edit: I've taken the liberty of changing the TRS Wick Cleaning instructions, to use Myth/ArthurPendragon for the man.

Edit: Forget it, sorry. Stepped on due process so I changed everything back.
