I'd be okay with the pic and the second caption.
I don't know, it feels a bit too crowded to make out the individuals all that well.
How so? They look fairly distinct to me, especially with the caption. Granted, I'm a huge Wo W nerd and I've seen that artwork a hundred thousand times.
I also realised that part of the image is already used on Our Orcs Are Different (top half of the second image). I still really like that picture for this trope, so if we do go for the Warcraft one, we can swap for a different image of Thrall. There's plenty to choose from.
I have to agree with . The orc is clear, but the minotaur is too much in the background, and the others are hard to see what they are exactly. The leftmost is described as Revenant Zombie, but she looks more like a dark elf to me. 19 is better.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.I think a piece of art showing an actual in-universe alliance deliberately grouped together is preferable to a collage of different miniatures that don't work together in-universe.
"...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach."I agree that Sylvanas (Eldritch) is slightly JAFAAC, but the other four visually fit their roles and the caption clears any ambiguity. There's even a living elf right beside her to compare, so it's not too big a pill to swallow that she's undead.
I agree — the latest suggestion has its flaws, but they all look distinctly evil and posed together. I can't make anything out from the miniatures.
Clock is set.
I’m all for the Warcraft replacement.
"...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach."It's not great but definitely an improvement, so
And this trope probably needs TRS at some point.
Ah, okay.
