That's what you think, I guess. That said, there's all the other objective stuff pulling it down, like not being transparent, being unofficial/fanart/possibly misleading, or series pages not needing pics. I believe that it ultimately makes current rather poor as a work page illustration.

Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)Bear in mind that this page isn't about a work but about an unofficial grouping of works across multiple franchies. So principles notwithstanding, there really isn't anything official we could place here.
I know that it isn't about a work, but an unofficial grouping of works (so unofficial Wikipedia doesn't have an article on it). But Franchise.Disney Channel Live Action Universe is also one of these, and it does not have an image nor does it need one yet a fan logo exists here; plus Franchise.Whoniverse, while apparently being official to some extent, also lacks an image. And I think the point about lacking transparency while having a white background and being fanart stands.

Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)I wouldn't mind keeping the current.
Keet cleanupWhy is Keep Current even in the lead? There's barely any support for it from people who've posted in the thread.
I'd prefer to not set a new precedent for our standards by keeping it.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?If so, that means we can probably keep it.
I have no strong feelings, though.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessIn that case, definitely keep the current.
Capcom Unity apparently is an official blog of Capcom (there are copyrights on the site and a Twitter account which calls itself official, and capcom.com/usa/ apparently has a link to it as a "community" at the bottom, and they have called it a "seal-covered" website). Well, that makes current at least okay (no "definitely pull it" attitude I previously had), presumably with the transparent version and a caption clarifying it's an official joke.

Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)If I knew it was an official joke, I'd never have tried to remove it.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.I probably wouldn't, either, but you still haven't answered whether your removal of the image was just a coincidence. It was literally on the same day that this thread was made. Please tell me, are you sure that it was literally just your random decision that day? I'd like to hear some justification for the answer as well (even if short).

Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)I don't normally visit Image Pickin', so it was an unfortunate coincidence.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Okay, thank you for clarifying (and I do know that you don't really post in the subforum, some people just specialise in different stuff).

Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)Swapped in the transparent version; let's keep it.
Keet cleanupI've at least clarified in a caption note that it was made by a former Capcom employee to prevent more people mistaking it for fanart or some other hoax, plus I think it's just neat to know (I don't think it spoils the joke).

As a counterpoint, I've always found the current pic/caption combo to be rather amusing.
