I just discovered this person on You Tube, member name is Legal Eagle (real first name is Devin) who is a real life lawyer, and has been doing videos discussing the accuracies (or mistakes) TV shows or movies make when featuring real legal matters.
He already has many videos up, but this video is a good starting point, where he discusses the infamous series finale to Seinfeld.

It's kind of weird that there's a genuine chance that the reason he hasn't pardoned anyone is literally because he can't brag about it on Twitter.
Not Three Laws compliant.I'm not certain he (or several members of congress) realize they can summon the press and say whatever they want, whenever they want.
"And let the biased media spin things the wrong way? We ain't stupid!"
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Wouldnt pardoning the rioters be conter productive to his case? Since it could send the message that he does approve of their actions
He doesn't wanna call press conferences coz reporters are going to ask questions during them.
And he wont pardon the crowd because there's nothing for him to gain from doing it. Almost all of his pardons so far have been transactional (Heck, the FBI's now investigating people who have gotten some). He's a narcissist why would he pardon randos who aren't giving him anything.
I've heard that he can't officially pardon anyone without proper paperwork. And right now there's nobody willing to help him with it, and he's not capable of filling it out alone.
Yeah. The White House Counsel told the staff to not talk to Trump and Trump just stopped paying Giuliani so he's out of the picture. Anyone left is likely to be like, base level staff who don't do that kind of paperwork and wouldn't be able to help.
Not Three Laws compliant. There's also the fact that the bulk of the capitol invaders haven't been charged yet. Word on the street is, the FBI is waiting until Trump no longer has the power to issue pardons before they charge the invaders, specifically to avoid them getting off.
Of course, that will never be the official headline, but I think it's a legit possibility. Especially since the FBI is heavily vetting the National Guard members who are in DC for the inauguration.
Qui odoratus est qui fecit.Pardons dont work that way. You can be pardoned before being ever charged. That explanation makes no sense.
Hm. Well, that's why I'm a programmer and not a lawyer or anything similar.
Qui odoratus est qui fecit.I'm also pretty sure several people arrested have been charged. Otherwise there'd be no point in arresting them.
The point of arresting them is getting them off of the streets and out of society while prosecutors determine what actual charges to file against them. This is the literally the function of jails: taking a person who is deemed to be a threat to others and removing them from the others to whom they may be a threat while the justice system begins its work.
Not being able to arrest people before prosecutors filed charges would be a major oversight in our legal system.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Discussing Trump's last wave of terrible pardons.
The fact that the percentage of "pardon them" being not zero is startling. Not suprising , but startling.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Apparently, those pardons...

With all the memes about women choosing a bear over a man, Hollywood might wanna get on an 'East of the Sun and West of the Moon' adaptationSo the shorts are supposed to be under a minute? Seems kinda silly to break a story into two parts released on the same day. I get that this is a format for quick and dirty reporting without taking the time and effort of producing a full video, but to be so rigidly under a minute long when it's a two minute story sounds like he's gaming the Algorithm or something.

Fresh-eyed movie blogDid *Certain* Politicians Commit Sedition?
It's a transparent attempt to game the algorithm. To the point that I think he explicitly said it in the first one (or it was just so obvious it's what I heard). It's why I don't bother with them... That and they're so short he can't really say anything that's really of substance to me.
They're an awkward level of commitment and information... Only a minute is still about what skimming an article and I get way less information. If I specifically cared more about his personal opinions they may have more value but nah. Frankly I'd rather read a Tweet on the subject.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.He says those videos are geared towards the Instagram/Tiktok crowd where short clips are the norm. He's still doing full-length videos, so skip the shorts if you don't like them.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I assumed they were just quick videos for him to make to comment on any current event, while focusing his attention on his other videos.
With all the memes about women choosing a bear over a man, Hollywood might wanna get on an 'East of the Sun and West of the Moon' adaptationI honestly don't see what's the problem with the shorts.
Also, now I want this channel to cover the most recent Robinhood controversy. This might (if didn't already) turn into something really big.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. He usually just covers political stuff, so I'm not sure this would be in his wheelhouse.
It's been 3000 years…He just posted a short about the GME thing. (And tweeted about it a little earlier.) A full video would hardly be out of the question.

Trans rights are human rights.
He hasn't issued anything yet, but that's because his megaphone has been taken away.
