Based on that, I'm fine with pulling it.
Assuming what you're saying is true, pull. I don't think it's all that illustrative anyway.
Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)Pulled and linked to this thread. (To soon?)

Yes, I think that was too hasty, even though I don't get the image.
Keet cleanupMy apologies. I've restored it until we reach a consensus. Even though it looks like we want it removed.

I think it should be pulled.
(Annoyed grunt)It's been 3 days. Can we make the call to remove yet since it seems were all in agreement to?
Pull.

That's certainly better
Was the girl in the first panel the 2 people fused from the Self Hug draft? I know next to nothing about Steven universe so that first panel is a bit confusing.
PSA: a cat is not a dogI'm assuming you mean Ruby and Sapphire, so yes. Garnet is basically both the bride and groom in this scenario.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢I don't understand what's going on in that picture.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.I'm seeing two characters that I've never seen before in anything relating to the show, who are bystanders to more important characters, meeting and falling in love.
I still don't get how it illustrates the trope. It shows two random guys who suddenly become love interests to each other. It doesn't show how they correlate to the other characters.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.I thought the image was enough on its own. If I added the correlating relationship images, it would make it too long, which is also the reason why I combined the last two images in the third panel.

Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢Panel 1 is about a guy who's looking around and see nobody to partner up with in whatever event he's in. Same with panel 2. So at the end they decides to partner up with each other.
I see a Meet Cute or something in the suggestion; I don't see the relationship/s they are spares of.

I thought Archie Comics might have something for us — from Life With Archie: The Married Life
Certainly better, but maybe without the red circles, reddit taught me not to use those. (potentially NSFW, probably not but putting a warning here just in case)
I vote for Archie

When I see a bride and groom saying "I do," the next thing I expect to see is them kissing, not some other couple. Without the red circles, my mind would have glossed over the fact that the hair colors don't match—and even with the red circles, I'm still not very comfortable with it.
The red circles show who the "spares" are. It's certainly the best image thus far.
Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
The image, added without discussion, is misused since the Spares in question are not paired in-work (it's not YMMV so fans pairing them don't count), they don't even get Ship Tease (at least until the finale which we aren't allowed to show or mention due to being leaked). Also one of the pairs is only teased, and the other has yet to go as far as Official Couple.
