Opened. There might be some good examples on the page but I couldn't find anything that works well for our purposes.
Panel 1◊ (from For the Man Who Has Everything) seems like a reasonable image.
Health sure is versatile. It's possible to be both light-headed and dim-witted. At the same time, no less.
That works all right, but it relies on text, unlike the original suggestion. Was it just too morbid?

Personally wasn’t fond of the OP for quality, and is truer to the trope since something bad happens to a character on their birthday.
(Annoyed grunt)
Eh... I'm not feeling 6.1. There's nothing visually birthday-related about it. It's too reliant on the quote.
... until SUDDENLY DINOSAURS.I kinda have to agree. I would like to see something more birthday-ish.
Something involving a cake or a party.
Although if no other suggestion comes in, it will work as a "better than nothing" suggestion.

Keet cleanupNot the person you're asking, but I dislike the OP's due to a lack of personal connection between the event and the birthday-haver.

Spiral out, keep going.I could've swore we had a TLP or something to the effect of "died on their birthday". Regardless I think 6 is stronger, but still in better-than-nothing territory.
I see that the guy died on his birthday, but is that really this trope?
