OK, here's where this thread is standing, with the unlocking:
Given the widespread backlash and complaining about certain aspects of the work (i.e. Dexit), we wanted to communicate very clearly what we are not willing to put up with: prolonged, circular complaining (or wonking).
Of course, with a controversial subject that has a large impact on the gameplay, Dexit is in one of those areas where there it may be on-topic to discuss it, but the nature of that discussion can wildly vary. As has been said elsewhere, we ix-nayed discussion of Dexit entirely because it never seemed to happen without devolving into that kind of complaining.
However, we're willing to unlock the thread after this 3-day cooldown period because the Pokemon General thread has been stable enough. And -
Can I discuss Dexit?
Yes. But if there is prolonged wonking on it, the thread just becomes an echo chamber of complaints and we do not like that. No one likes that. The same rules as ever apply. Be a constructive, healthy space. Have conversations about what you like, and what you don't like, but the thread should not get locked into a series of bitter complaints.

I can see Impidimp as being used by Team Yell. And that'd be annoying, as it has a damn nice type combo.

I hope Impidimp has the biggest, baddest Devilman reference as an evolution. Then have a counterpart Legendary that is a pure Fairy genderless Pokemon with 8 wings.
I always saw Impidimp as a singular evolution Pokemon. That said, I assumed the same for Honedge.

I mean, iirc, jangmo-o (or at least hakamo-o and kommo-o) weren't revealed until late in the cycle, and I don't think goomy was officially revealed, so maybe impidimp (if it is real) is the psuedo's first stage

Impidimp is real, but there's only one and all instances we've seen so far are just projections from the true Impidimp's power.

Imagine if impidimp doesn't evolve and s just a novelty mon whose gimmick is vying for attention and being a nuisance? It'd have prankster and a ton of status moves?

In the sense that he was banished by Arceus, then yes. But there's nothing to indicate that he's evil or anything, it's just that anti-matter is dangerous.
And Necrozma more befits the "fallen Light-Bringer who is now only darkness" aspect.
