I'm not completely sold on either, but if I had to go with one, it'd be the current.
I think the current is pretty good. She’s young, but clearly old enough that wearing cutesy clothing and making crude crayon drawings would be considered immature behaviour. I can’t really tell how old the girl in the suggestion is supposed to be, and her behaviour doesn’t seem as stereotypically childish either.

Agreed. She's some sort of zany comedian, but that doesn't come across very clearly in the image, and comedy isn't typically considered childish.
The art style of current makes it better than the suggestion for me — she's visibly an older kid doing kiddie stuff. That's not as clear in the suggestion, plus crayon drawings are more obviously childish than the nose-and-glasses thing.
