Trailer:

It was released on Netflix on February 1st. Yes, it was released the day before Groundhog Day. It's really, really good.

I also created a page for the show in case anyone wants to help me fill it out.

I thought it was fantastic. It's one of my new favorite series. [up] I agreed with your edit about the timelines merging but for some reason I didn't put that in...

Haven't actually binged anything in a while. Finished it yesterday after starting it on Friday.

Really good. Probably my third favorite "Groundhog Day" Loop work (first being, well, Groundhog Day and second being Edge of Tomorrow [fight me]).

Little confused by the ending, but that's fine. You kind of can't wrap it up in a neat little bow. I liked how their near-perfect second-to-last run wound up being a Hope Spot, during the episode I was thinking "man, the last loop in these almost feel like a victory lap" and then boom, blood everywhere.

In the final episode, kinda didn't really like what happened with Horse. Like... seems like Character Derailment. I'm not saying taking an easy mark wouldn't make sense for a homeless man, but it doesn't really jive with his behavior in the other loops. Also I still don't get the parade just happening.

One thing that... sorta concerns me is Nadia being the "insufferable cynical smart jerk" stereotype. Like, it worked for her, but I just hate that stereotype because it's so imitatable. I just see people try to pull it off in real life and it's terribly irritating. It's deconstructed here since the point was understanding that she needs people and everything, but it was just a little annoyance in the back of my mind during the show.

Just finished both seasons after watching them during the course of a week. The first one is really clever, interesting and fun, and also makes you root for the characters (though, as the trope page points out, I didn't really understand the significance of the homeless man). The second one however I felt was too bloated in trying to one-up the previous one, what with all the trips in time and space and the body swaps. So after a while I couldn't follow it that much. Also I get that Nadia is cleverer than she lets on, but here she looks like a super-genius that can remember multiple timelines, the personal details of a big number of people and much more... but maybe I just didn't understand how time works in this particular universe. And I felt that Alan's subplot was kind of underwhelming, maybe they should've used an episode more so that both series were going to be 8 episodes each.

"Effective Altruism" is just another bunch of horsesh*t.
