Getting the ball rolling here, perhaps the two trope names could be "Savage Orc" "Noble Orc" (or something along those lines).
Halper's Law: as the length of an online discussion of minority groups increases, the probability of "SJW" or variations being used = 1.Clock is set.

Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI go for a split as well.
Split. Our Orcs Are Different may be useful for examples that belong in neither category, should they exist (for example, a morally gray/ambiguous orc (group)).
Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand!Yeah, that's what we did with Our Zombies Are Different. So split off the subtropes Noble Orc and Savage Orc, leave Our Orcs Are Different as the supertrope.
I am worried that it might be difficult to differentiate between the two due to Noble Savage and in-universe Fantastic Racism, but the supertrope should be able to catch those examples.
Looking at the examples, there are a lot that fit more into a scale in between than neatly into one of the categories, and a bunch of examples that start in one camp but develop into the other.

Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand! We haven't had much luck with any sort of sliding scales, but I'm having trouble thinking of another solution. It's not like we can put every example of "people in-universe act like they're Savage Orcs but they're actually Noble Orcs" on the supertrope.
Unless we can. It's late and I'm tired, mostly trying to keep the conversation moving.
Resetting clock.

Unlike a cursory description given to the two kinds of Orcs in fiction, like in Our Elves Are Better, we have two entire subsections, each longer than some independent trope descriptions. Would it be best to split off the two subtypes into Savage Orc and Proud Warrior Race orcs? Mind you, the comparison and contrasts between the two should probably be salvaged in some format.
