The purpose of echo fighters as I understand it is that they are mechanically different, though not enough to truly be considered unique fighters. Dry Bowser could fit perfectly in that category.

I'm not necessarily against Dry Bowser being an echo, but that's still Bowser at the end of day.

He does already have a skin that's based on Dry Bowser. If Bowser were to get an echo, I'd personally rather Dark Bowser, if only because he has different abilities to Bowser himself. Of course, Fawful's probably the frontrunner with regards to M&L-specific representation.

Clickbait is largely seen as unethical, yes. It's essentially a low-level scam that uses flashy and often false advertising to gain financially profitable clicks without actually providing content. This sucks money out of internet platforms that could go to actual content providers. Both platform providers and legitimate content creators strongly dislike it.

You can debate whether lying is inherently unethical based on how you value truth and such, but scamming definitely is unethical since it causes harm to person being scammed

Strictly speaking, lying is frequently unethical. Now, whether or not it's immoral is an entirely different subject - clickbait is at best of questionable morality, given how often it relies on outright theft for what "content" it actually does provide.
