another idea i had was everyone getting teleported to an anime, so we can do that after the christmas specils

Honestly, I like both of your ideas as your Christmas special could be use next year Christmas if we can survive round 1 of 2022. Now, for the second idea, it depends on the Tropes and the gms on it.

Chibi, I really appreciate your enthusiasm and I like your ideas! But I feel like I have to be honest, I'm worried about you biting off more than you can chew. For one thing, we usually like someone to have been in the thread for a while (how long exactly varies from person to person, we basically just want to make sure you have full grasp of the thread and have ironed out all the problems of inexperience first) before GMing an episode. it's also very rare for players without discord to GM episodes, as it requires a lot of communication with everyone else.

Also, it's not just the christmas episode that's planned next, but the season finale after that, which with then transition into a brief new season of six episodes or so based around the tropers travelling to different planets, so the opening for new episodes that don't fit that concept is a quite a way down the road.

Sorry if this seems harsh, I didn't wanna come down on you too hard cause I like your roleplaying! I just wanted to be honest about this before it becomes a problem.

I do have a matrix account so we could try to bridge it, but idk how to code so thats confusing.

matrix is a discord alternative, i think you can bridge servers from discord to matrix.

Hello! I'm interested in giving this RP a go, if that's alright!

1. Premise – it's a play-by-post RP based on the sitcom format, where comedy is strongly encouraged. Plots are organised into "episodes," which are planned in advance and GM'd by someone different each time. Your main character should, ideally, be some sort of Author Avatar of yourself. And speaking of which...

2. Character – my character will be Psyche, a young lady with short red hair in a pixie cut and glasses who often wears a purple hoodie. This specific iteration of Psyche is based more on the iteration from Brothers in Arms 3, just with some slight tweaks to remove associations with that RP. She's socially-awkward, prone to spouting non-sequitors, and very passionate about weird food combinations. She's also morally-grey. Maybe. Who knows. Is it Obfuscating Stupidity, or is she really that dumb?

Oh, and yes, I do have a Discord and I'm willing and able to join the Discord server for this RP. Should make things a lot easier.

I think that already exists under the name of A Fandom Thread for a Show that Doesn't Exist.

Ohh okay. That does kinda sound fun, but I'm not sure if it has a wide enough appeal to be successful? Like, i don't imagine there are many people on the forums who read Tropers The Series without posting in it. Still, you're welcome to try it out if you want.

Can i make an RP taking place at Tropesburg high school rp taking place during and after the current arc?

From the view of high school students who grew up in Tropesburg? That... might actually be a good idea. I wonder how they would view the Tropers (who are probably mentioned in the history books!) in general.

Probably a mix of those from Tropesburg and the many, many exchange students from the blown-up planets.
