Didn't that start out a bit rough?
Just like how Ore Imo started as, then.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I think it's too early to tell whether the mom should be considered a love interest then.
"...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach."It does have enough red lights that I'm just gonna avoid this as hard as the eventually daughter-boning anime.
Or maybe I will watch it anyway, as a Bile Fascination.

Meh, having read the novels it's introduced several potential love interests and definitely leans more into the Amazingly Embarrassing Parents trope than any incest issues. I think she's just hot so readers don't feel weird about the fanservice.
Not that I'd actually recommend it. It comes across more of a Shallow Parody that derives most if its supposed humour from just dumping on its protagonist (and for something at obstensibly about developing communication between parent and child it's habit of treating Masako always in the wrong, even when he's getting frustrated because his attempts at reaching out are being ignored I would argue its fundamentally shit all over its own message by the end of the first volume.)
So yeah, this is very much in my "wouldn't watch unless I was being paid. And paid a lot."

Well, one of the most important novels in Japanese history has that exact same plot, so I'm sure Murasaki Shikibu is greatly pleased that people are carrying on her traditions!
Isn't it ended with no one happy?
E.T technically is a Isekai movieI wouldn't know because I didn't finish it yet (it's one hell of a long book), but I do know Genji figures out how much of an asshole he was in life just before dying.
I think the parts after that were written by someone else, in fact, or at least scholars theorize as much.
I read 2 stories that take inspiration from Tale Of Genji, one still going and one ended. In the one that ended, the incest stuff ended pretty tragic for the Genji-character, and started the plot of that story.

E.T technically is a Isekai movieStill no Symphogear rec, so Geoff's video is irrelevant to me.
Watch SymphogearY'know he doesn't usually talk about continuing series, because he presumes people who want to watch it already know they want to watch it, right?
Still worth talking about, though, especially for a Niche series that really needs to break out in the west, but is easily one of the most popular series back in its home country.
Watch SymphogearIt's classical Japanese literature. Of course no one ends up happy.
Huh, so for once Geoff's list corresponds exactly to my own watchlist. Except for Astra and El-Meloi, which I considered watching but passed for lack of time.
Okaasan Online I wouldn't exactly recommend yet, but it's funny enough to keep me interested. That could change.
…I can't remember, was Symphogear that show with lesbians who fight by making out?
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo. No, that's Ragnarok Drive or something thereabouts.
Valkyrie Drive.
Symphogear is a magical girl show with dramatic tone. Main girl's choice of weaponry is fist, fist harder and rocket fist Other mains cover swords (couple hundred or building sized one) and More Dakka (ALL the dakka).
Phrasing
I for one have no interest in Symphogear.
I read that, it's garbage, but God forgive me, I just can't drop the damn thing.
Also no Kimetsu no Yaiba on this list so I don't give a shit. Never mind, that was released back in Spring.
Kudos for remembering Vinland Saga, though.

Missing out on one most purely raw anime of any anime ever made. Especially when the main girl suplexes a space shuttle to safety.
But what do i know, lol.
Watch SymphogearI really love Symphogear, but as The Lovecraftian said above he doesn't normally talk about ongoing series in these videos. So it's unfair to hold its exclusion against him.
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobHommage to Kyoto Animation. And Anime in general

Truth be told, I've never been a big fan of Kyo Ani. I've never disliked them, it's just that the sort of shows they made didn't interest me, A Silent Voice being a notable exception.
But learning just how much was lost in that fire, how important they were for the Anime industry and community as a whole, how fucking unfair this all is...frankly, it's more than words can truly convey.
My sincerest hope is that, not only can Kyoto Animation rise up from such a horrible setback, but that the rest of the industry can look at the kind of work they did, not in the animation department but the way they treated their employees, the opportunities they gave to people, particularly women, who would otherwise never get a fair shot at such a competitive market, and learn from it, and improve.
Kyoto Animation is a treasure, and they deserve every drop of love people direct at them.

Under the Scope and Phenom Sage made their own tribute videos… and there'll probably be others in the next few days/weeks.
…And my god, just seeing footage of Violet Evergarden episode 10 makes me tear up again.
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo. You called it. Gigguk just made his.
Many of my favorite shows come from Kyoto Animation, and their attitude towards art has always been inspiring. This is a horrible tragedy.
If you're into anime at all I'd strongly suggest at least checking out Fire Force. It has some of the best animation and direction you'll see anywhere
