Opened. I can get behind a cut.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportCut. Other deletions have been made for meme-based pages and this page is mostly a list of videos based on the meme, and Weblinks Are Not Examples even if we decided there was something worth salvaging.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Kinda torn between cut and a web original genre.
Its not really different fom Let's Plays or Youtube Poop.

I don't see how it's similar at all to let's plays or YouTube Poops. Those two have videos based on a variety of source material while this deals with remixes featuring a single song. Because of that, the page's claim that it's a subtrope of Stupid Statement Dance Mix is inaccurate because it's really The Same, but More Specific.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. Its a subtrope to Fanvid actually which are allowed on tv tropes.
I don't see how it isn't also The Same, but More Specific for Fanvid.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. When there are sooooo many of them they need their own subpage, Touhou Fan Vids is another one like that.

That's a legitimate Fanfic Recs page. This isn't. If one was going to make it into a fan work page of whatever kind, one would need to gather tropes and actually turn it into a work page (a la Inglip).
Absent someone willing to do the legwork for that, I vote cut.

The fact that this is in Main/ means it isn't considered a subpage of anything; Main/ is mostly reserved for tropes and indexes. FanficRecs/ pages aren't the same thing. I agree with StarSword that this needs to be fleshed out to be a proper fan work or Fanfic Recs page for it to be worth keeping (and I'll add that it needs to be placed in the proper namespace if that happens; probably either WebVideo/ or FanficRecs/), because right now it's just a list of videos and works they're based on, and as Weblinks Are Not Examples says, examples should explain themselves instead of making readers go to another site for context. The lack of context isn't helped by the fact that some of them require an offsite account.
Edit: For the record, I wasn't saying there was anything inherently wrong with works featured on TV Tropes requiring an offsite account; some works on here cost money, after all. The problem is that the lack of context means that's the only way to know what's in the videos. Providing context for a work that requires an account and/or fee would provide an incentive for potentially interested TV Tropes readers to seek out the work instead of making that the only way for readers to know what it's about.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Somebody suggested putting these in WebVideo/, but that namespace is for works. How tropable are "RED ZONE" remixes? This Administrivia page says that covers and remixes do not count as tropable works. If these videos aren't tropable, they don't belong in a work namespace either.
Then either FanficRecs/ or cut. I'm leaning toward cut because otherwise someone would have to go through almost all of the links to add context (if possible), so I don't see much worth salvaging, especially if the original poster is correct and the meme is dead.

she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportLooks like Cut has a lot of support
Yep, enough to call. Get the chainsaws ready.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportWick list was pretty small, so it didn't take long to go through them. Going to cut and close.

What would be the best way to fix the page?
This came up in in Ask the Tropers.
Red Zone Remix Vid is not a trope or a genre. It's a meme (and a dead meme at that). It shouldn't have its own individual page.
