We also do not know what happened to Carlos Oliveira, the other playable character we have not seen in nearly 20 years. Prior to Vendetta, Rebecca Chambers was similarly MIA. Barry was not originally playable, but we we still had to wait over 15 years to see him again.

Personally, I am most interested in Manuela Hidalgo-one of the 3 currently alive people who successfully bonded with a Progenitor Virus variant without the deleterious side effects, yet it has been over 10 years since we heard from her.

I wouldn't trust Capcom on delivering.

They clearly have no idea what to do with half of the cast.

It's impossible now, but I always wanted Leon to take on Wesker. I do think it's high time that Leon fights H.U.N.K.

I think its high time HUNK does ANYTHING right now and steps out of the "side minigame character" shadow

I'd like to see Jill and Jake meet and how Jill would react to them. Also, it occurs to me Chris and Jake have never actually met Ada. I don't believe Claire and Rebecca have met either.

I also wonder how Sheva would feel about this new Umbrella given her history with the old one.

Ada's new look has been leaked.

Well, at least she no longer looks like an escort girl who wandered off her set.

But now she really DOES look like the type to search for one of "those reporter types, always looking for a scoop."

Saw that awhile ago, she looks very boring, but hey, for the sake of realism.

Her outfit in RE 2 is pretty reasonable by video game standards. Hell, it's the only game where she wears sensible shoes.

That's a common fan theory but I don't believe that's been confirmed by Capcom.

So I finished Heavenly Island

With Three of the OG characters surviving, as opposed too Desire's One. Takeru,Yuki and Marilou for two of you who care. Julie or Zi'Li was of course an undercover agent for some BOW corp... and She ended up being our mutated Final Boss. She even survived the Rocket launcher! for a too close for comfort reenactment of Merah's death at the end of Desire... Yes Till the end I was sure they were gonna kill Yuki or Takeru and not let the two have a happy ending.

I give it a B+ I enjoyed it for what it was

It still had Desire's weaknesses where a large chunk of the plot is just wasted on waiting for the RE characters to show up 'IE lets waste half the chapter showing Piers, Chris and Merah Eating and just kinda going maybe we should hit up Professor Wright cue them slowly tracking them down till their late for the Tragedy'

Character work was a bit better, Takeru is a better protag then Ricky in my mind... maybe its cause he actually succeeds in atleast keeping Yuki alive while Ricky keeps talking a good game but never delivers

The overall Premise is Fucking Silly B movie cheese/sounds like the pitch for the porno parody that someone decided to take seriously. It really only tells you stuff you already knew and only kinda hints at Umbrella corps premise of everybody and their mother trying to be the New big BOW producer with Umbrella gone

Also it ends on the Secondary love interests zombie self striking the first volumes Cover pose

What a strange calling card for an ending? granted this one made more sense with Alisa ya know being burnt to cinders!

Desire's premised was full of Naughty nuns and ridiculous attractive college school girls in matching outfits IE the Catholic Private School Fantasy

Island's is of course Babes in bikinis...

The next RE manga either needs to be about Nurses... or Maids

If nothing else, the dress at least looked comfortable and stretchy and her shoes were pretty sensible. This new outfit shows less skin (which is good) but we have the heels agains.

I still don't like Ada's new outfit & I'm still bother that Leon shows more reactions than Claire does.

Consider:

• Claire is an adrenaline junkie who rides a motorbike.
• Her brother's in the police/military.
• She went looking for him without a second thought.
• Leon's just some rookie cop who barely graduated from the academy.

If anything, Claire's the one who should be prepared for the crazy and used to keeping her cool.

And Leon was clearly in over his head in the original game. The only thing that seems to have changed is that it's more obvious now.

That being said Claire's probably only ready for human assailants liek bank robbers and terrorists and the like. At this point, zombies and viral-cultivated what-the-fucks like Birkin and Mr X are a whole different ballgame. Shoot an off-license robber in the leg and he'll crumple. Shoot a zombie in the leg and MAYBE you'll get a head tilt. Then I'd probably see 1998-Claire and Leon panic

Maybe I'm misunderstanding something completely off here, but I was always under the impression that Claire was the who skirts the line of being a badass & civilian. As in she's the Badass Normal out of all RE protagonist. Not like she's Moira or BSAA but somewhere in between.

Great, now I can't get my mind out of the gutter. Ironic, because I'm pretty sure that outfit was supposed not to that fanservicey. Not that I ever thought Ada or Claire's outfit was ever fanservicey to begin with.
