I can't help but imagine Simmons as a Metal Gear villain for some reason.
A less charitable read would be that The Family was just trying to set up the Patriots in RE.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters. He looks like Adam Jensen from the Deus Ex games
....so you are saying we need nanomachine in RE?
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Speaking of previous entries, before RE8 comes, we should apparently keep in mind what went down in:
- RE1 (specifically the remake)
- Code Veronica
- RE4
- RE5's Lost in Nightmares DLC
- Revelations 2
- RE7 and its "Not a Hero" & "End of Zoe" DLCs
Anyway, something popped in my mind: if RE7 took cues from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and other horror movies from the 70s and 80s, should RE8 follow suit and take cues from horror movies from the 90s and beyond? I suddenly thought what if the werewolves and other supernatural stuff we've seen thus far ends up being like The Cabin in the Woods where, psych, turns out it's science?

5 of those have Chris appear as a main character though for some reason 6 is not included.
Rev 2 is interesting, which could lead us explain what happened to Natalia
Uni catIt's been openly stated that RE 8 is what was originally planned to be Revelations III and it's a high probability that the vampire lady is Alex Wesker.

Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters. So Natalia gets taken over?
I feel like if it takes cues from the 90's horror movies, it'd just be taking the piss out of everything, which this doesn't seem to be doing.
It's been 3000 years…Besides, we've already had homages to 90s horror movies in RE.
Mostly homages to....the Resident Evil movies.
:)
Natalia being taken over sadly happened in the real ending.

Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters. And here's part 2 of Gamerthumb TV's redo of part two of his Resident Evil timeline:
So he cuts Annette shooting Ada, and has the George Hamilton from Outbreak be the only one who makes it out, and references both Robert Kendo and Katherine Warren's Ghost Survivor stories (Robert makes it, Katherine does not), but beyond that, the core of his original timeline remains the same it seems.
You know, with Village on the way, the remakes being done, and questions of where the franchise can go from here, I've been wondering. The next game in the timeline is Resident Evil – Code: Veronica, and then there's a good six years until both the Terragriga incident and then Ashely Graham being kidnapped.
Maybe they could consider a few more interquels. Tell some of those stories we've wanted but never gotten, like that Jill / Claire team-up I've personally been waiting for.
Edit: I also forgot to mention something. We've previously talked about how unrealistic some of Umbrella's actions were (such as sending in mercs and bio-weapons in order to gather combat data during the Racoon City debacle) since it seemed like they were trying to muck themselves over, and it was all far too cartoonishly evil....but lately, I starting to find their actions possibly more believable considering how short sighted some governments and companies in the real world can be (and in fact are being).
So, Umbrella, maybe not so cartoonish after all.

One Strip! One Strip! If there was a terrorist activist organization in one of the Resident Evil games that went about destroying vaccines and keeping people from wearing gas masks in dangerous areas we'd all be like "Yup there are direct parallels to real people."
Anyways, I tried playing Resident Evil 5 today and Sheva somehow found a way to knock me into the activated furnace I was trying to use to burn a monster to death.
Bleye knows Sabers. The Captain Planet villains were similarly considered too cartoonish and unrealistic but that opinion has changed somewhat in light of how certain companies have been in regards to the environment.
Specially how one thise villian become president of United states of the america.
We always though it would be a mastermind like lex luthor, reallity is less impresive and yet somehow more crazy.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Reality Is Unrealistic exists for a reason. :/
Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen.Been wondering, besides the G-Virus and the Nemesis Parasite, how many viruses spawned from Lisa Trevor?

Uni catHoggish Greedly and Biff are the best fictional analogs for Trump.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.Wrong thread Charles.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.Hey, Hoggish Greedily and Biff don't deserve to be compared to Trump.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult."I have no reason to believe you that there is a Tyrant in this tube!" Karen Macleedy shouted as she started deactivating the holding tube, "The T-Virus is a hoax and also a bioweapon developed by China to make Mr. Trump look bad!"
(two minutes later, Karen is killed by the Tyrant in the holding tube as Claire and Jill just shake their heads)
I'm actually starting a Resident Evil RP on this site, and considering all the craziness going on about diseases right now, I'll have to substantially rework my idea of how people are gonna behave once Isla Lathu ends up nasty with the undead and super mutants

It’s pretty telling how current comments on the remakes when they showed the disintegration of Raccoon City are comparisons to current social unrest due to rotten systems and pandemic
Carla doing that I think was all about spite to fuck with Simmons.
Which considering what he did to her, it’s hard not to fault her.
I don’t think any Resident Evil villain has a rather concrete idea of how to rule the world beyond spread infection to create super humans and profit
Hey. Wesker called for complete. Global. Saturation.
haaaaah
Mighta' gotten away with it too if not for those meddling BSAA agents and their stupid volcano.

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).
Actually it would be nice if we did finally get to explore the characters' mental health.
I feel the most we got was Chris's & Leon's & I didn't think they did a particular good job with it.
