I think the reason why Douma don't have gimmick to prevent his death despite being the 2nd strongest UM is that he don't have emotion. When he die, he didn't fear it, he have no attachment to the world, there nothing for him to hold on to like Akaza fighting spirit, Hantengu emotion or Daki/Gyutaro bond.
E.T technically is a Isekai movieEpisode 13… Tanjirô saves yet another demon and Zen'itsu earns a bit more of my respect. I wonder how Inosuke knew that a demon was in the box though… Is his own super-sense the sixth sense?
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo. It's just that each character from the main Slayer trio has some form of heightened sensitivity.
Tanjiro has a great sense of smell, Zenitsu has great hearing and Inosuke's skin perceive every slight change in the air provoked by someone's movements.
... And that's called jazz! All five of Tanjiro's Generation have a super sense.
So people gonna stop complaining about Zenitsu now cause I've seen some hard disliking to him cause of his voice & screaming?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I'd say more or less; if you're including Genya and Kanao, it's more like Cannibalism Superpower and a Dangerous Forbidden Technique involving vision, respectively.
... And that's called jazz!No Kanao has really super vision normally. And is likewise able to see abstract things, like the others with their senses. She can just enhance it even more.
Genya's is not quite as fitting as a super sense, but it is linked to taste and eating. And is clearly intended to be the equivalent to the other fours senses

Can someone explain to me why Tanjiro didn't want to step on the papers, and how not stepping on the papers allowed him to move without aggravating his wounds? That really didn't make any sense.
Also, a lot of flashbacks in this episode. Did we need to see that demon's backstory twice in the same episode? Inosuke kicking Zenitsu for like 5 minutes straight also felt a bit drawn out. This wasn't one of the show's better episodes.

I think the reason why Tanjirou didn't step on the paper cause he respect other people hard work. he don't know that the paper belong to the demon, but he a good kid and instinctively know not to step on other people stuff, especially the paper that have words on it, clearly belong to someone who put a lot of work in them. Another reason is that it just a coincidence, when he landing and tip toe, he found out that if he breath in lighter it won't hurt that much. the demon already in an unstable emotion state so he might saw it as the Tanjirou respect his work.
The padding of this episode pretty bad, but in can understand the reason:
1. They don't want to have 2 fight consecutive in a episode
2. They want to devote the entire next episode to Inosuke( Boar Head)
3. They don't want to have 2 big character moments in a single episode since it might detract from each other important.

E.T technically is a Isekai movieShe does? Huh, I may not have paid attention to when it came up.
Genya is still not a very straight example to me, but yeah, it fits the general sense-related theme (and sense of taste greatly relies on smell, so maybe Tanjiro can cover that too).
... And that's called jazz!Yes, when Tanjirou toss her coin in th air, she said that see can keep track of it to know how will it landed, but can't this time cause Tanjirou back was in the way.
E.T technically is a Isekai movieI just found this theory about why Zenitsu usually scream and shout, generally being lound. People usually shout and talk loudly when they are in environment with a lot of noise to make shure other hear them. Thank to his hearing ability, Zenitsu basically live in a constant noisy environment and it make him develop a habit of talking loudly.

Demon Slayer is heading to Toonami. Fall 2019.
New Ep: The three stooges have a sleepover.
E.T technically is a Isekai movie…It's been a long time since a non-comedy series made me laugh this much. For a moment I wondered if Tanjirou was using reverse psychology to deal with Inosuke, but… nah, he's really just that stupidly nice. Man, the comedic pacing in this episode was pure gold.
A bit surprised Inosuke's face is revealed this early actually. I thought it'd be a perpetual mystery like Kakashi's mask or something.
Zen'itsu's reaction to Nezuko was a tad over-the-top (then again, when is he not?) His sword looks damn cool though.
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo. Can't wait for next Ep and the new arc. Prepare for some creepy stuff and welcome the return of an old character.
E.T technically is a Isekai movieNew chapter is out.
Muchirou is pretty much dead but I kind of expected that since he's going up against the first breath user and the first demon moon.
So. Kokushibo. He lived up the frigging hype and then some.
Man! I really love the Michael Jackson memes attributed to Muzan despite he is... You know, the most evil of them all and the leader of all demons. Then again, Muzan's artwork similarities with MJ's appearance is kind of coincidence at best
Should it become a Memetic Mutation regarding Muzan being a Michael Jackson demonic version

"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."I mean, it already is.
Eeh, from what I've seen I'd put Tanjirou in the "you'll understand when you're older" slot. X)
So episode 15… back to the serious business. Well, mostly serious. Zen'itsu, you have to understand that hitting on a girl that insistently is… kinda creepy. :x You're lucky that Nezuko doesn't attack humans. On the other hand, I really liked Inosuke getting a taste of human kindness and enjoying it.
So we got a whole family of demons now? That's gonna be interesting.
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.Alright I figured what arc the anime will end on.
It will be the train arc, probably on the Rengoku vs Akaza fight.
My only worry is we have like 9 episodes left having just started the spider mountain arc, then the recovery mini-arc, & finally the train arc. I'm a bit worried about the pacing there.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Can't it be this arc? I don't know how long it is in the manga…
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.I give it around 4 to 5 episodes.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
We saw Muzan massacre the lower moons via crushing them and tearing them apart while they were helpless against him. Even when one tried to escape, Muzan tore his head off before he realized it.
Ditto to Gyokko. And when Akaza was reporting in, Muzan tore him up without any effort. Muzan has been hyped as very, very powerful. We've seen him sprout massive demonic limbs to outright eat a Lower Moon
Muzan demonstrated one demon blood art so far, but if it was that simple, Tamayo wouldn't have had to ram an anti-demon drug into his body just to hold him so the Pillars could smash him again and again.
