So, the devs for Ghost of Tsushima are being honoured by the real life Tsushima, by being made permanent ambassadors for the island.
Mayor Hiroki Hitakatsu was quoted as saying that they "spread the name and history of Tsushima to the whole world in such a wonderful way".

John Wick Director Working On A Ghost Of Tsushima Movie
So um. Hi. I just got this game and started playing and holy fuck it is so good. Like I'm not even that far in (I'm just past the Hopeless Boss Fight against Khotun Khan) and I'm already excited to play more. Kinda misunderstood how standoffs worked at first so had a bit of a "Dormammu, I've come to bargain!" moment there but I got the hang of it quick enough lol. Playing on medium bc I want a challenge but I'm not an idiot, I know the limits of it being my first time
FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Fate/Samurai RemnantIts easily one of my new all time favorite games in general. It does everything other open world games do but far better and refined to a sharp point.
Its not an obnoxious ubisoft Esque game with waypoints on a mini mp everywhere, but instead is a very minimalistic UI and very creative in how the environment itself guides you to destinations.
Watch SymphogearAlso the fastest load times for like any open world game ever which is a big plus
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaAnd that was before the PS 5 upgrade, at that.
Watch SymphogearSo now that the Iki DLC has been out for a minute, what's the thought? I personally love it, the terrain is more versatile, the archery is pretty fun and you start to feel like a legit samurai again. The archery challenges were nice, would have been even better as a horseback challenge. And of course samurai were archers. Also the charge mechanic felt like a battle tactic.
Story was excellent. I wanted to learn more about Jin's father and it turned out Kazumasa was actually kind of an ass. Seeing his attitude toward Jin made it even worse for Jin's journey into the Ghost.

Ghost of Tsushima 2 announcement incoming?
Finally.
Gonna grab this one for sure once it's out on Steam.
I liked this game but I question if it needed a re-release.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. It's a PC release. It was never on PC.

I think they're talking about the director's cut. I need to get around to playing Go T (no not that one) but am currently busy with Spider-Man 2 and have Horizon: Forbidden West on my backburner.

Why waste time when you can see the last sunset last?
Just started playing it for the first time and it's pissing me off even more that it lost out on GOTY to TLOU 2 for what feels like BS reasons of it being the poster child of "games as art".
Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut is literally just a PS 5 native version of Ghost of Tsushima bundled with its DLC. Apparently it was a short-lived, Sony-mandated title as Hideo Kojima wasn't fond of the PS 5 version of Death Stranding getting the Director's Cut title, and Horizon Forbidden West just went with the more descriptive "Complete Edition".
It's video game Oscar Bait. But I wouldn't say GOT deserves GOTY over Doom Eternal or Crash Bandicoot 4 in my opinion.

I'll say Yuriko breaks the record for shortest time between introduction and heartbreak in a video game.
