Perhaps rename it to The American Colonial Period to be more specific; as my country and several countries south of the US have their own Colonial Periods from Spain.

ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔|I DO COMMISSIONS|ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔Note that The Colonial Period currently has a name crowner (courtesy link).
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyJust giving an update on the crowner, but double posting so people notice (listing everything that is in the green in case things change later):
- The Thirteen American Colonies: 13 for, 5 against; 18 votes (+8, 2.60:1)
- The US Colonial Period: 8 for, 2 against; 10 votes (+6, 4.00:1)
- Colonial British America: 9 for, 8 against; 17 votes (+1, 1.13:1)
- American Colonial Period: 5 for, 4 against; 9 votes (+1, 1.25:1)
If I may carry over my points from the other thread:
- The Thirteen American Colonies is a redundancy, as no other group of colonies has ever been called "the thirteen colonies". The name should be The Thirteen Colonies. Anyone who doesn't believe this should check what the article on Wikipedia is called and take a look at what the respective Google counts are for "the thirteen colonies" and "the thirteen American colonies."
- Colonial British America is just flat-out wrong and should not be listed as an option, as "colonial British America" included not just the thirteen colonies, but also Canada, Bermuda, Florida (at the time of the Revolution anyway), and Britain's colonies in the West Indies.
I could go for The Thirteen Colonies. But in my opinion, aside that "The Thirteen American Colonies" would make it clearer to non-American tropers who are unfamiliar with US history, I wanted it to differentiate it from the name of the article in The Other Wiki.
To correlate this, even though we call that period in Russian history from 1922 to 1991 "The Soviet Union", This Very Wiki names it as Soviet Russia, Ukraine, and So On. The same thing with the imperial history of China, where it's named Dynasties from Shang to Qing.
Speaking of which, I tried to propose for these two to be renamed as well, to no avail; as Imperial China was already taken on the latter.
ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔|I DO COMMISSIONS|ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔Bump.
ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔|I DO COMMISSIONS|ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔Concerning The Colonial Period, there's been no change to the crowner, so I think either interest has died or everyone who did have interest has cast their vote.
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyMy guess is that the ATT thread regarding has been overtaken by ither threads, as the crowner link is also there.
And I guess we should pick out the one with the most votes.
ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔|I DO COMMISSIONS|ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔Via the highest votes from the crowner, made The Thirteen American Colonies. Should we redirect The Colonial Period to the former, or should we cut it?

ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔|I DO COMMISSIONS|ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔Redirect to catch the inbounds to Main. The Colonial Period.

ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔|I DO COMMISSIONS|ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔I think The Middle Ages should have a separate Useful Notes pages to differentiate it with the stereotypical Middle Ages and the real Middle Ages.
Also The Low Middle Ages, The High Middle Ages, and The Late Middle Ages should be a Useful Notes page.

As per https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/query.php?parent_id=57326&type=att Hat Shop and The Colonial Period are being made into Useful Notes. I've already taken care of Hat Shop, but The Colonial Period has quite a few more wicks. I'm looking for some help with updating the wicks (either removing cases where The Colonial Period is used a trope, or updating the namespace if it is used as a reference).
Thanks in advance!
