Just saw the raw. I'll wait for the subs to come out but from what I saw...
- Kokoro gives birth to a girl. To the surprise of no one, Mitsuru seems to have completely recovered his memories when he sees the baby. The Where Are They Now segment shows the couple have given their daughter siblings.
- The leaks were real. Goro and Ichigo get a Last-Minute Hookup and the latter is pregnant.
- Ikuno's bedridden, but she survived! And no, they didn't pull the Cure Your Gays card since she's seen in a relationship with Naomi.
- Futoshi has started his own bakery. Guess he's the Bread Man after all...
- The VIRM is (still) out there.
- Hiro and Zero Two both die in their final battle. God damn it. But both seem to have reincarnated as human children, so perhaps they'll get their past lives' memories back (or at least be together in their new lives)? And at least we get to see the Hiro and Zero Two as a blue and red oni respectively one last time.
That's... one way to end your science-fantasy romance series. Perhaps they're gonna have The Movie where Reincarnated!Hiro and Reincarnated!Zero Two strike down the VIRM once and for all in the future?

Together, we are one.Welp, glad that's over with.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. You don't even care if it's even a good ending?
Maybe Kazuya was right after all.

The only good fanboy, is a redeemed fanboy.Bile Fascination is an ugly thing...
Oh come off it. Everyone has their own reasons to watch a show and that's mine. Deal with it.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Would have liked if more people died.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Yoursvseems borderline hateful tho.
This is not Gainax, man.
The only good fanboy, is a redeemed fanboy.Annnnd?
There not the only ones who kill off their casts.
Besides what a dated-ass refrence.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."... This sounds like an Esoteric Happy Ending. I'll have to see the episode myself.
A cruel, sick joke is still a joke, and sometimes all you can do is laugh.I’m about 95% sure we’re getting a movie, and Gridman will be better.
Oh no, its esoteric as fuck.
The VIRM are still out there it seems, Hiro and 02 died only beating another part of it's fleet, and then they reincarnated with no memories of each other as children. Meanwhile literally EVERYONE else, got their happily ever after.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I'm legit crying.
It was indeed a beautiful ending.
I do not regret watching this series for a single second.
Now, pardon me, but I have to wipe my tears.
Well done, Darling in the Franxx.
Well done...
Huh, that's certainly one way to end it. This whole thing has been a wild ride with deflated wheels when the middle point kicked in, but it was salvaged to an extent and I suppose it could have crashed worse. You win some, you lose some. We'll get 'em next time.

Oh well hopefully the next Trigger show is actually good.
Looking at you Gridman & other upcoming mech show (points).
You both better impress me.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I just wanted one, one Trigger/Gainax related show where the main character and/or their partner doesn't die. ONE.
I was excited for Promare but this just makes me swear off Trigger for good.
Oh hell no, don't pick up that card yet. It's one not worth picking.
The only good fanboy, is a redeemed fanboy.Yea, after all of the bullshit this series did, the least it could do was just have them live happily ever after lol.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Well it's done. This isn't the best work I've seen by either studio (Kiznaiver for TRIGGER, Blue Exorcist for A-1.) but it's not the worst either (SAO for A-1. LWA and When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace were both good TRIGGER series so I guess if I had to pick the worst I've seen from them I might put it as the latter.), it's a solid series. The worst I can say is that it repeated some plot points, the symbolism went nowhere, and it should have ended three episodes earlier but none of those are enough to ruin it for me. I'm willing to give it an 8, maybe 8.5 out of 10.
Indeed its pretty clear now its a consistant Trigger thing.
So avoid any of their shows from now on till you have final confirmation.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Welp, I loved this final ep. Was it cheesy? Hell yeah, but it had me smile like an idiot all the way through. It's a perfect conclusion to this story. The ride to get to that conclusion was a bit bumpy and the execution and pacing weren't always top notch, but I'm satisfied and happy at the end.
…So Ikuno ended up together with… Naomi? I guess that works too. I didn't really expect her to have that kind of role − I thought the "old" adults would be the one to have the antidote against rapid aging − but it's cool. Even Futoshi stopped being the writers' chew toy. And Hiro and Zero Two went out with the best orgasm battle of their lives.
Still, damn, in 8 years they had enough kids to open schools? >.> They learn fast.
Okay is VIRM still out there or not & can the cast combat them if they are?
Cause I don’t consider any ending with the main fucking villains still running around a happy one knowing they could attack at any moment.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Strelizia has gone super-sonic in its final battle...
Considering that they're immortal and proclaimed that they would meet humanity again at the apex of the latter's evolution. I dare say that they're in no hurry of throwing in the glove with the cast again anywhere in the close future. They can wait until the conditions has been met.

Like we can trust anything those bastards say.
Okay not a happy ending then, I fucking hate Karma Houdini’s.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
Hmm, the three main pairs narrated the last three episodes.
