That page also has Cream saying her name instead of Cheese. Someone didn't check the text.
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.I swear, Cream always gets the poorest luck in the comics lol I recall an issue in the Archie continuity (the Rebbot) had a typo in Cream's "character profile" thing. There were plenty of visual errors with her in the Sonic X comics, as well as Cheese's gender being inconsistent. Planned to be involved in the finale of IDW's season 1 only to be delayed. There was that one cover that had every other character involved but the artist couldn't fit Cream in. And now we got Cream missing herself instead of her beloved "pet"
All that said, I'm super satisfied with how Cream has been utilized in IDW so far. While I wish Cream would actually contribute to the plot (which seems to be happening soon, to be fair), her presence in this story is actually compelling and getting people to care about her, which is what I've been asking for for years. A big far cry from Archie, where Cream seemingly only existed to give Sally someone to mother over and some jokes at her expense. I just hope Ian keeps up with this momentum, and has Cream take more action: fighting action, not just airlifting and moral speeches
Now if only Amy was being her actual self instead of Sally :P
Amy is fine she is being how she has been portrayed in recent games and series.
Ahh yes, the age old debate
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. And I never liked those recent portrayals. I much preferred how Amy was in Adventure to Unleashed, being a friendly Genki Girl who started off a weak civilian but made herself into her own hero with the partial motivation to win over Sonic. The only thing that was wrong with Amy during those times were the Flanderization of her crush on Sonic and her temper, which is far more the fault of the writers than the actual traits. Her recent portrayals, on the other hand, gutted Amy's passion and energy in favor of the usual level-headed, down to earth girl character, which is Cream's schtick. Not to mention a textbook case of Character Derailment. And while IDW does at least keep the crush open and obvious, unlike Boom, Amy comes off a lot more like Sally than her actual self, down to the way she speaks. Instead of being a Genki Girl who leads others not unlike Sonic, Amy's presented as a highly organized and level-headed girl who leads via meticulous plans, coordinating from behind a screen, and spends her spare time cataloging resources. And it just doesn't sit right with me
But I already got into an argument about this not too long ago and would rather leave it at that. I just wanted to say that I'm very satisfied with how IDW had been handling Cream, in light of her absence in mainstream games (and especially in comparison to her Archie Sonic self). There's a reason I left the Amy bit in a spoiler, and played it up more for the lulz
If Cream makes it to the end of the arc without getting infected (assuming, of course, this arc ever actually ends) then I fully expect her to be the one to give Eggman his comeuppance. Maybe by pushing him off the edge of Angel Island.
I don't know, the way this arc has been putting Cream in the foreground makes me think she might snap or somesuch.
I get it was supposed to be stress lines but Cream looked kinda old in that page.
The Protomen enhanced my life.I just assume the arc will end with Sonic snapping Eggman's neck.
¡PONLE QUE DIGA!:"¡HUMONGOSAURIO HASTA LA MUERTE!"Nah, if that happened then the comic would be over (or they'd pull an Archie and have an AU Eggman take over since Eggman Nega is off-limits I think.)

The Protomen enhanced my life.Yeah. One of the mandates is no main character dies so Eggman ain't getting his neck snapped.
That being said, they could still drop him to his near death.
One Strip! One Strip!I was half joking.
¡PONLE QUE DIGA!:"¡HUMONGOSAURIO HASTA LA MUERTE!"I suggested shoving him off Angel Island so they could give him a Disney Death.
Everyone knows he ain't dead, but the point is it was attempted.
I don't know what Starline is gonna do when he shows up again, but I think we can safely assume he'll be joining the !@#$ both Sonic and Eggman camp that the Zeti currently occupy.
Edit: It also dawns on me that Eggman being allied with the good guys for now gives Omega a chance to get his body back.

One Strip! One Strip! So basically the same thing Sonic did in Lost World?
¡PONLE QUE DIGA!:"¡HUMONGOSAURIO HASTA LA MUERTE!"I think it'd be cool if we got to see Sonic-Man like was planend with the Archie comics.
The Protomen enhanced my life.I'm just looking forward to all the Versus matches. Espio vs Zazz, Cream and Whisper vs Zeena, I forgot the rest, but this is looking to be so awesome.
So, anyone notice how Starline's hand seemed scarred when Eggman took the Warp Topaz glove from him?
Could that be the result of the testing he mentioned? Or maybe there's something else going on.
Edit: Also, did we see what the Six did with the Conch? Because if it's still around, and the heroes get their hands on it, then they have a way to both control the Six and stop the Zombot rampage until they can start their plan to save the day.

One Strip! One Strip!Yeah I noticed it too and was hoping someone else would bring it up. His hand is literally warped and blistery. If the warp topaz can do that eith a little electricity, maybe there is a reason the quack was concerned.
Very much so.
But at this point, they really don't have time for caution. Starline himself made any thoughts of taking their time to figure things out moot. The Deadly Six have put them all on the chopping block, so it's either cure the virus now, or they're all screwed.
Him trying to be cautious at this point is just being naive I'd say, even if he is right about how dangerous the Warp Topaz is. Though it may also stem from a (well justified) lack of trust in Eggman.
One Strip! One Strip! Also, it's not like Tails or Eggman would even need to actually WEAR the damn thing on a glove. Eggman's a mad scientist but Tails at least will probably take proper precautions to not cook them with their own science.
Especially since Starline's worries probably aren't unfounded.
In fact, the biggest issue with tossing him out is that they now have to start from scratch with figuring it out, whereas before they only had to convince him to help.
Though considering how unwilling he was to even do so, that probably would have been difficult. He clearly wasn't going to play ball.
One Strip! One Strip! The only reason he got chucked out was because he was trying to bail in the first place, so zi dont blame them for using force before their chance got lost to the aether.
I wouldn't be surprised if they either hook up the Warp Topaz glove to some computers or went all Avengers: Endgame and build a new glove out of nanotechnology or something.
Bump.
IDW's May 2020 solicitations have dropped.
