Tropers: The Series

(Chey was knitting beanie hats, and loads of them, when she saw Tropes crash. She tosses her knitting work on the other side of the couch and rushes to him.)
"Smegging heck! Are you alright?!"

Tropes gets up.

"I'm alright! I just got beat over the head with this sack of money."

Custard zooms into the room and screeches to a halt with a stupid grin on her screen.

"Did somebody say... money?"

"Yeah, money! Y'know, the stuff that can be exchanged for goods and services? I got a big sack of it from Mr. Meddling."

“Which one? There are so many Mr. Meddlings, I’m pretty sure they’re inbreeding. It’s like the royal family all over again.”

"Ooh, money? Next step: let's find something to use it for!"

"Ah, it's not like it matters, Tales. every minute a Meddling dies another is born. Now, about this money..."

Tropes picks up the bag.

"I'm afraid it's not for us to spend. It's the salary for this episode's super-special guest star!"

"Awww... wait, what super-special guest star? Or is that a secret?"

“And that would be....”

"I'll see if I can find a ice pack in the freezer..."
(Ford comes out of him and Chey's room, goes over to Chey, and kisses her on the cheek.)
"What's happened, darling?"
(Chey kisses Ford back.)
"Tropes fell through the ceiling with a sack of money. Apparently, some special guest is showing up in this episode."
"Ah."
(Chey goes to the freezer, finds a ice pack, and gives it at Tropes.)
"Don't forget to give him a towel. Catch!"
(Ford throws a towel at Chey.)
"What the smeg would I need a towel for?"
"Makes a good pillow when folded up."
"Ohhhhhhhhhhh."

"Special guest? Is UNIVAC coming on the show?"

"And who could this be requiring this kind of money, considering we've had all kinds of guests and cameos on the show for years and those all were paid way less - wait, did we even pay all of them?"

"Um, yeah," Custard says as she remembers bathtubs full of ice, "about that..."

"So, when is this special guest showing up?"

"I wonder who it is. Let's place our bets," I say, taking a handful from Tropes' money bag and setting it down on the table.

"500- god damn, these are all hundreds? Jesus christ- Anyways, 500$ says it's J. Michael Tatum."

"Hey, careful, After! If even a single one of those goes missing, Mr. Junior might refuse to do the show."

"It's fine, we'll keep all our bets in this bag for safekeeping," I say, putting the money back in the money bag.

The door to Bob's room materializes on the floor.

Bob kicks it open and climbs out, the door slamming shut behind him and disappearing.

"The hell's going on out here?"

(Chey sees Bob and waves at him.)
"Hi, pal! Long time, no see. Anyway,"
(Chey then takes a handful of money from the bag and sits the pile on the table, and counts it as well.)
"$1000 says it's Todd Howard with exclusive news about the new Keurig coffee maker port of Skyrim."

"Keurig does have that new smart coffee maker, doesn't it? Alright, I can see it."

"Hey guys!" Knife pops out onto camera, holding a roomba. "I made a roomba that screams for vengeance when t causes you pa- woah. Where is all this money coming from?"

As she says this, she drops the rommba on her foot, causing her to jump in pain as the roomba screams. The canned laughter rings within the room.

"It screams for vengeance? What is it avenging?"

"Probably the fact that it got dropped on the floor"

"Ooh! You said avenging! Perfect cue for me to announce our Special Guest is none other than..."

"Robert Downey Jr.! That's right, the guy who starred in those movies that are worth more money than everything you own and your physical body put together, and he's gonna be here!"

"Oh, wow! What's he doing on our little show?"
