I agree with what was said earlier about Batman Ninja, it was just plain stupid, the plot was random and made no sense at all.

I thought it was fun!stupid. Not to mention far more preferable as far as anime style DC goes to Teen Titans. Going straight to the source, not just visually, but also spiritually, did wonders.
Another Animated ‘Wonder Woman’ Movie Is on the Way
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QiP50MySlA - Reign of the Supermen Trailer
Embedded version:
So this just came out and I just gave it a look:
I liked it. From what little I've actually seen of Reign of the Supermen, it was pretty faithful outside of having Darkseid replace Mongol, and revealing that the former also sent Doomsday as an assassin to kill Supes. It seems they're trying to make Darkseid more like his more hands off Manipulative Bastard self then the evil brute he was in War.
That's just me though, and my tastes aren't often always good.
One Strip! One Strip!Looks like a return to the JLU art style.
Huh no Simon GL, just Cruz?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."My last foray with DC Animated Movie was the one with Constantine because ever since they went New 52 the quality really, really dropped. Except Gods and Monsters, that one was amazing. Are the new ones better?
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life. All I could say is that your taste isn’t complete shit as I also liked the movie for the same reason as yourself. Seriously, just like what the Judas Contract movie did for Deathstroke Reign of the Supermen basically rerailed Darkseid’s chararcter to that of a Bigger Bad role that orchrestrates plans behind the scene AND gave him a voice actor that nails the character perfectly.

He probably just saw Earth as something easily conquered and so didn't see a need for more subtle manipulations. After all, just showing up and letting them see how outmatched they were was probably good enough for causing fear, crushing hope, and taking over. But after the newly formed League fought him off, he realized Earth has powerful protectors and opted to be less of a hammer and more of a scalpel instead. So it works from both a meta standpoint, and within the context of the New 52 movie series.
One Strip! One Strip!Me: Oh boy I can't wait watch "Reign of the Supermen" on my recently purchased DC app... oh its not available on the DC app. :|
Okay, so I just watch Reign of the Supermen. A few peeves:
1. Did nobody find suspicious that Henshaw was just floating there and only stepped in when the president was directly threatened and did absolutely nothing to help the public?
2. Why did the entire league decide together underneath the boom tube then do literally nothing but look up as the portal swallowed them.
3. Why would Darkseid make Henshaw the main control for his Boom Tubes despite not needing one before?
4. While I'm pretty sure it's just for the sake of tension, Superman worrying about never getting his full power back and then heals completely by being exposed to a little sunlight is kind of silly.
5. Making Darkseid the one who sent Doomsday make Henshaw seems like a crazy dumbass that blames Superman for his plight instead of the guy who literally says to his face that he did it. I mean, the original kind of is, but this is ridiculous. It's not like he was brainwashed since he easily broke through Darkseid's control by Lois incitement.
6. Darkseid saying "For Apokolips" instead of "For Darkseid".

6. That irritated the heck out of me.
Justice League vs. The Fatal Five Trailer
In 2015, the Caped Crusader joined forces with the Heroes in a Half-Shell in Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
This happened 2 more times in the comics.
But now in 2019, the team-up gets animated.
Well, that's gonna be interesting.
I believe the crossover was well liked wasn't it?
One Strip! One Strip!First, Modok & Howard the Duck cartoons, now animated TMNT/Batman crossover? Guys, it's Valentines, not April Fool. Stop messing with me.
Mostly positive reviews, and the memetic scene of Batman eating pizza in the costume.
Maybe we can get those two He-Man miniseries (the Thundercats and Injustice crossovers) if this keeps up.

I'd love to see those happen, but there's still some kind of Embargo of the Masters of the Universe, since MOTU is still getting primed for a live-action reboot from Sony Pictures. (Which would probably be slightly bearable if we got something tangible to comment about, but even now, we still have zilch. Grrrr.)
I thought Mattel had re-acquired those rights after a lapse. If not, that sucks, if so, well, DC animated films and originals have often served as “make goods” of sorts for younger targeted shows. And given what’s happened to both licenses, He-Man/ThunderCats getting an animated adaptation could win WB animation a ton of good will, and the Injustice crossover was very well received.

Entertainment Weekly has the first trailer for Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

That is true. The closest DC animated movie which depicts Batman doing anykind of detective work in recent years is that crossover between Scooby-Doo and Batman The Brave & The Bold. Ironic seeing how the latter cartoon is known for its more actiony (and comedic) driven story telling.
