What's he doing without his guns, I wonder.

Was it confirmed whether those were really his guns or just replicas of his guns?

Honestly I’m looking forward to his game more than Fury’s cause I’m really hoping it’s like a third-person shooter with a lot of guns to pick from.

Both War and Death were able to recognize them, so they're probably real, and I'd imagine Nephilim weapons aren't things that are easily duplicated.

I expect we might find that Strife has like hundreds of guns he keeps misplacing :-P

Then again they were carried by master blacksmith’s so if anyone could replicate weapons it’s them.

Though they are most likely real because War & Death wouldn’t show such reactions to simple forgery’s.

Academic as the actual game takes place over a few hours anyway.

Fury's shtick is that she's the most loyal Horseman to the Council out of the Four. I'm guessing part of the story in this game will have her renouncing said loyalty.

I really hope to get to play as Strife one day. His design was always the coolest to me, and it'd be interesting to see if they could adapt his gunplay to the series' melee combat.

Do they ever explain how the Makers got his guns?

No - it's not really elaborated on. The gun you get in DS 1 is a replica of one of Strife's guns, but the one in DS 2 is his actual gun. Which is weird.

I wonder what Darksiders 4 would even do for gameplay if it focuses on Strife. Third-person shooter? Bayonetta-esque character action?

Alternatively we see Fury not just use guns.

I'm guessing third-person shooter. I don't know if a non-Japanese developer could replicate Bayonetta's character action.

They won't switch genres like that. Most likely the combat system will have some DMC influence with the guns.

I'm guessing it'd be like Bayonetta, with him having Martial Arts-esque melee moves that involve his guns and doing heavy damage at short range, with a manual aim mode like the other Darksiders Games, too. He'll probably get some melee weapons while he's at it.

Who here when they first played Darksiders 2 a) thought Death was voiced by Jeremy Irons and b) was dissapointed when they realized he wasn't?

Can't say that I was, since I knew Michael Wincott was voicing him to begin with and Wincott's cooler than Irons.

I just love Death’s voice.

It is literally perfect.

It's one of those cases where I hear their performances, look at their resume, and think "Why the hell hasn't this guy gotten more voice work?"

I want to say Troy Baker, but since he has two major roles in the series already, I'll go with Matthew Mercer or Robin Atkin Downes. The latter would be especially amusing since he's played an ally to characters voiced by Liam and Michael before.

He is perfect. I do hope he makes a return. Considering he played "Old Bill" in Westworld, he seems a fan of random cameos these days.

Wonder who'll they'll get for Strife (I do hope DS 3 does well enough to get us the 4th game!)

Man, can't WAIT for this. I'm keen to see how the dungeons all connect and how much of a Metroid vania it is. As well as her other weapons.

It would be an interesting side-game.
