Bathypolypus arcticus is a tiny (3.8 inches long) species of octopus from the depths of the North Atlantic that lives longer than any other species (6 years; most only live for 1-2), eats only brittle stars, and can neither squirt ink nor change color (because it lives so far deep that both defenses are useless in total darkness).
