Can't look at the suggestion right now but that poster does seem to work for this page pending other ideas.
I'm not fond the suggestion? It doesn't really cover the immoral part?
It's the idea of thousands and thousands of people watching a live feed of someone's life, as the imagery in the poster shows. It's not great, but I think it's solid enough to go with pending other ideas. I like the suggested replacement for the film's page.
But plenty of reality shows have cameras in the bedroom. Big Brother has that.
All that says to me is "Popular Reality Show"
Lemme see... Only thing I can find atm is The Running Man◊ where one of the contestants is visibly being restrained by a guard.

Well, aside from being watermarked, I get "game show" from that more than "reality show".
The Running Man is in the list of examples, and the show is basically the trope description.
Fair on the watermark.
Point is, someone sleeping peacefully doesn't say "Contestants are forced to take part". Which is the gist of the trope.

I share Ghilz's concern.
An image from Unreal would fit, if someone could get a good screen cap of Quinn or Rachel forcing the contestants around
OH MY GOD; MY PARENTS ARE GARDENIIIIINNNNGGGGG!!!!!How about a fun game of Touch the Stove◊?
This signature says something else when you aren't looking at it.^ That immoral, alright. Reality show? Dunno.
He is on a stage with a curtain behind him holding a microphone.
Maybe I can find a bigger version of this◊ to pair it with.
This signature says something else when you aren't looking at it.Perhaps we have different definitions of reality show.
Note that the description and examples imply not only reality shows but also game shows. I think some people are focusing on the title too much and not bothering to read the page.
Especially when the description goes A trope that became popular during the 2000 decade but dates back as far as the 1950s.
Considering the concept of Reality Shows didn't exist back then, and almost all pre-millennium examples are game shows.
Hmmmm...fair point. With that in mind, the last suggestion is good enough for me,
^^ I don't care much for game show examples which may be misplaced, but where in the trope description do you see a reference to game shows?
I said "implied game shows", when it mentions the trope predating the concept of reality show. was coined as thing in the 90s. Plus most of the description applies to game show formats as much as Reality show.
Plus it mentions Deadly Game as a subtrope, which is explicitly game shows.
Anyway, that's more a TRS discussion.
Personally I see reality shows as game shows as pretty much the same thing. As an example, as far as I can tell the only notable difference between Road Rules and Fear Factor is that one uses the same group of contestants all season and the other uses new people each time.
This signature says something else when you aren't looking at it.13 works well enough. Let's avoid examples that overlap with Deadly Game.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Would the Truman Show example better on "Truman Show" Plot? A bit annoying that it's also the Trope Namer, but it's still better than nothing.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"^ Good point, but rather open a new thread.
Any other opinions on Touch the Stove?
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Clock is set.
Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
I want to suggest moving the picture that's current on The Truman Show to this trope, and replace the image on that page with another poster◊.
