I'm not going get my hopes up for this, it's probably related to the FF or some other dumb thing.
What would those jackass at Marvel get from another MVC anyways?
Huh a Triple-A FF title be pretty fun.
Good variety of playable characters and high-science, multiversal explorers could lend itself real well to a game.
Though yeah that wouldn't be another Mv C game.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Alternatively, the Fantastic 4 would be really fun characters in Marvel vs Capcom.
Real talk though, it's probably just Fantastic Four characters in the mobile games.
This song needs more love.
Never gonna happen. Apparently there's nothing appealing about elasticity, supernovas, being a barrier warrior, & having super strength. Ok, maybe it would be hard to make Ben stand out against someone like Hulk, but I'm pretty sure he could still work.
Do you have any idea believable that actually is?
Wasn't Super Skrull added to MvC3 just because he happened to have all the Fantastic Four's powers at once, or am I misremembering that?
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaNo that was the case. I'm sure if you try to google it you'll find the interview.
Skrull qas added because The Himan Torch was supposed to be in, but his constant flames made the game lag too hard. Skrull was chosen since they already put in all the work and he coukd be more flexible, which explains why he incorporates flames so much in his moveset and supers.
Also iirc, it was Marvel who suggested Super-Skrull.

Actually that's not true. They already debunk in a live stream, plus there's Dark Phoenix.
If the X-Men are coming back I hope to god that Dark Phoenix stays gone.
Wolverine, Storm, Magneto and Cyclops, ideally Nightcrawler too. Dark Phoenix ruined Marvel 3 (on top of the broken assists and touch of deaths and wow I do not like Marvel 3 very much).
I was fine with her. The X-Factor mechanic I had a bigger problem with.
I laugh at Dark Phoenix with Strider Hiryu. And that's supposed to be a bad match up for Hiryu.
The probably I had with X-Factor is the absurd power up you get. Not to mention it can hard to control. Which is why I'm gonna give credit what Fighterz did with Sparking

So whatever comes next be it a new Marvel or a Capcom-only fighter, do you want it to be 2 on 2 or 3 on 3?
I really like Infinite's 2-on-2 system and I'd like them to develop and elaborate on that, but that's not going to happen after this fiasco, unfortunately.
Maybe they could finagle a system where any number of characters on a team would be competitively balanced?
Like Skullgirls?
EDIT: I give up. The pothole markup can burn for all I care.

Are you trying link to Skull Girls?
Pretty sure Infinite wasn't even the 1st to implement that tag system. I recall correctly that was Tekken Tag
That's what I was trying to do, yes. Thank you.
Anyway, one fun thing they could do with that system is portray certain characters as stronger in a hypothetical storymode while remaining balanced.
I mean they already do that to begin with.
Even in some of the comics for that matter.
Tropers/agent-trunks: I bet there were games before Tekken Tag. Also, it came out in 2000, I think? Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 was already a thing back then, and that kind of stuff (tag systems) was around since the times of X-Men Vs. Street Fighter back in 1997, if in a more rudimentary way.

Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...He's talking about Active Switches like in Infinite, which was in Tekken Tag.
That's not what I'm talking about.
I'm talking about how in Infinite you can set up moves & tag out. I'm pretty sure Tekken Tag was the one who did that 1st.
What he said
