I'm really sorry. I should have discussed here first about it.

Animal people

So, these animal people are supers who can transform into animals. Then, why are they on the streets? Because they are the victims of Project Loyalty. As I have said in the Foundation for the Future description, Foundation sees supers who can transform into animals as lesser beings, so they see them as good potential for slaves (whether being a free janitor or a war animal). First, they created human-trafficking plan for... well, human-trafficking. They kidnap beings Foundation calls lesser, (including animal-supers), drug them and bring them to their HQ.

Damien's Project Loyalty was supposed to break these supers with his power of corruption. But, here's the thing: the process of corruption can be unpredictable. These two animal supers I have introduced are the corrupt supers who broke... just not in the way Foundation expected. And that's why these two animal-supers exposed themselves on the streets and are planning for a rampage. Demon Slayer should see demons fully possessed these two animal supers (or rather, these two animal-supers became one with their demons, in Demon Slayer's eyes).

Again, I'm really sorry that I did this without discussing hings here.

EDIT: They usually have a minor form of healing factor. The process of healing is slow, however, so they can still die.

It's OK, you're new here. We all were, once.

And that's a reasonably interesting concept. I'll add it to the list of new concepts (once I've evaluated if it can stand on its own.)

I'm imagining Demon Slayer will rather see something entirely new, new to him at least.

The man has not become the demon, rather the demon has become the man.

For once, his objective will become, not kill or ignore, but save.

Unfortunately, that just means he aims for their legs because when all you have is a gun...

What I had in mind was Damien awakening a dark side of the person ('demon') and letting it take over.

Though, as this must be a unique case for the Demon Slayer (as the corruption was basically forced, not self-perpetuated), he might see something else as you said, Go A.

But the Demon Slayer can't save the person because the time already expired (when the two week passes since the corruption starts, there is no saving the person). To elaborate on the limited time, generally when the corruption begins, the person can struggle with his/her own demons for two weeks at best. When that time expires, however, there is no saving the person.

The only way to combat the corruption is through psychological treatment (or something akin to it). Again, this has to be within two weeks since the start. Otherwise, it's useless. in order for the 'demon' to disappear, the person must deal with his fears and darkest desires (since that's where the 'demon' feeds itself).

I wonder how Emp would react to Axel or any of the other android characters of mine? Considering they are fully realized A.I.s on par with humans.

If that were revealed to him, well... there's still one way to save them. One last mercy.

Yeah. That's why I will introduce The Crusader soon: she has the power that can save them.

It will basically mean that The Herald, Demon Slayer and The Crusader might unite to stop the Foundation (along with other interested heroes).

Well, all things considered... she'd probably make fun of them in incredibly juvenile ways.

The alien parasites are quite difficult to describe. I could never settle on a consistent design, so I decided that they all would look very different from each other. Some would have a thin, elongated build, some would be bestial, etc. The only thing that stayed consistent is the two red eyes with a Cheshire Cat style grin. Look at my profile picture for a basic idea.

Also, now that the Parasites are stopped (for now) I have no idea where Rine should go to continue his story. Any ideas?

Edit: I just remembered. Dusk/Dawn was watching the whole thing. Also, the original Rine has been sent down to Easton City, most likely in a less populated area. He will be landing Transformers style, in his pod. If anyone investigates, please don't stab him in the eyes.

When I say "details" I mean more "characteristics" -powers, weaknesses, behavior, etc.- than appearance. The idea is 'any stuff that will help players deal with them.'

And I'll be getting to D/D soon.

"Dimensional Parasites"

These are the degenerating copies of Roken Eniq.

They are generally very tough to kill, but do not possess a lot of cunning. They can camouflage using an advanced Perception Filter method, although those who are trained to spot them can see them instantly. They are quite bestial in behaviour, so recommended strategies would be to shoot them from afar, gradually wearing it down, or to overwhelm it with sheer force or unpredictable attacks, like how Rine usually fights.

Although, they seem to be getting smarter. Their appearance and biological structure is changing drastically from one to the next, though they exhibit the same behaviour and are otherwise identical. That and a sighting from the far reaches of the Edge of the Multiverse, they appear to be getting... bigger.

Their ultimate goal is to cause all dimensions to collapse by feeding on the dimensional "supports" holding the dimension together. They do this by feeding on dimensional weaknesses, such as natural rifts or portals. They cannot consume artificial Rifts, or portals created using scientific or magical means, only natural weaknesses or tears in the space-time continuum.

That most likely means they will come into conflict with people like the Traveler, as I don't think he would like them eating his only way out of each dimension.

Their leader is Roken Eniq, an alternate version of Rine Anok. The rifts, tears, and portals they consume mainly keep their molecular structure together, while also acting as a food source.

Can I send Lara to the original Rine? Elizabeth might save him from the First Transcendent, so don't worry about him getting harmed.

Also, about Rine's story, he may get in conflict with the Shield (accompanied by Elizabeth, maybe). At least the original. Copy 4... I don't really know, so i'm sorry.

Yes, Lara could intercept the pod before Copy 4, as he is taking his time like a lemon. Elizabeth could show up too, to intercept Lara. I don't know whether the original Rine should wake up, or stay as the worlds largest paperweight. It depends how the story goes.

Copy 4 and 3 need to explain why the heck there are multiple Rines, along with why there are evil terror rodents attacking the city. As for Copy 1...

Copy 1 is probably not going to make it. If not, then the other Rines are going to be trapped in Easton without a home base or direction.

I'm slowly losing track of who's who. I'm starting to regret integrating the whole "copy" thing.

Don't lose hope. It's an interesting concept. I'm sure you can do it. Writing all the information somewhere (whether in a notebook or a document) might help not lose track. I do that when I write novels.

Also, a question: is original Rine naked or not? I mean, when a blindfolded woman carries an unconscious naked man to her home, it will look suspicious. (I'm not sure why I expect him to be naked. I guess I was reminded of Terminator for some reason.)

Thank you for the encouragement, and no Rine is not naked. He is clothed in the same attire as his copies. He also carries a weapon more akin to a broadsword, which he still somehow manages to wield with one hand. When he awakens (if he awakens, still not sure yet) he will have the collective knowledge of his copies, which is one of the reasons there are so few. He may have an information overload. Like I'm doing now.

Apologies, I've been neglecting to post for EMP. Can I just ask, though; where was the concept for these 'animal-people' brought up? See, I had an idea for an animal-person that was completely unrelated to them... whatever they are. Some kind of interdimensional population? I'm confused.

I'll be honest, I don't really know what's going on with the animal people. Nothing wrong with the explanation, I'm just stupid. Interdimensional population is... complicated. I recommend reading back a few pages to get the gist of what's going on.

I'm feeling rather bored right now. What to do, oh, what to do?

I'll just assume you mean in the RP. There appears to be some sort of... disagreement going on Downtown, so er... that's happening.

I just love the amount of creativity people have with this. Each one of these characters would hold up in their own movie.

IIRC, these animal people are merely animal themed supers that a group with Fantastic Racism against animal themed supers specifically decided was a good idea to turn into rabid beasts because that's where these animals belong.

Ahh, I get it. Come to think of it, that new char idea might come in handy specifically for such a scenario.

Also, I hope you don't mind Emp attempting to steal Agent Jones' phone; couldn't resist. :V
