Man, just a god damn Geodude I had to sneak onto a golf course with two of my IRL friends and quasi-jack (one of them worked at the place and normally handles karts so I mean it's not technically stealing and we have plausible deniability) a golf kart to trek across the greens.
Worth it.
Edit: Also, would bombing big ass hills on a skateboard to hatch eggs faster be considered IRL cheating, or just clever use of the mechanics?

I usually go cycling when playing GO! It still mostly counts towards the egg counter, since I have already hatched two 5KM eggs and I am just 6 KM away from hatching my one 10 KM egg.

I like this game so much I would willingly give money to it without compensation.
Yesterday I spent five hours in a park at night; it was filled with people hunting Pokemon. On the way back, my friends and I stopped on the side of the road to find and catch a Ghastly.
It feels like we've stepped into a dream.
The GPS stopped working. Anyone else get this error?

I've been able to play this game now, at last. It was only for a little while, but it was long enough for me to catch a Squirtle and two Eevees. I'm liking this game a lot and can't wait to start playing again.

This is already so mainstream it's already getting kinda demonized by major news outlets!
But this is still a good reminder to be careful. Robbers could be lurking at Pokestops. Also don't Pokemon GO and drive/bike.

I love this game.
I grew up on Pokémon. It's also helped me get out and exercise, and it's improved my social skills.

Inheritor of the Wing
Going to the local park to see swathes of people, some sitting on blankets they brought, all obsessed over catching Pokémon makes me feel fuzzy inside. I don't want this to ever end.
Having gone to a tiny private school during the RSE era I never really knew what it was like to be a part of a big "boom" like this before. There were a few kids who liked Pokémon but come Sinnoh they all moved on.
It's just... magical, I guess, to be a part of something like this. And not even in a bandwagon way, GO is legitimately an enjoyable romp for me regardless of how barebones it currently is.
